As a local, I always enjoy visiting Casa del Lago on Auburn Folsom Rd. The staff was friendly, the food delicious with generous portion sizes - almost enough to share, and they truly have something for everyone. It's been one of my happy places to enjoy some Mexican cuisine with great company!

We were delighted to return to this restaurant after moving to the Bay Area for a number of years. We love it,here and was so happy to visit again. The cilantro rice is so good! Got the taco enchilada combo. Was not disappointed at all. We will be back!
This place is very pleasant. It has been around for a bit and is kind of tucked away behind Starbucks off Auburn Folsom Blvd and Douglas Blvd. The people have always been nice every time I've been there. You feel very taken care of, and the waiters check in on you often and never let the water in your cup go empty or the chips run out. I recommend any burrito, although all of the dishes are excellent and authentic. Food is hot when it comes, and we didnt have to wait long at all. They also have fried ice cream, which is a plus.

Nice looking facility but the food is SO bland. Even the spicy dishes taste like plain tomato sauce. There are so many food Mexican places in the area, sadly this one is not one of them.

There were 40 of us in our wedding party. The service was fine but the food was cold and wasn’t prepared correctly. 2 super burritos looked like they were for a 5 yr old while other ones were extremely big. The Grande tostadas were filled with 3 pieces of pork and stacked with refried beans and lettuce. The Buffalo wings were stale and cold. Very disappointing to pay so much for poor quality. Hopefully that’s not how they do business all the time. Wouldn’t recommend but hopefully you’ll have better luck.

I have driven by this place numerous times but never stopped, but today I did. When you first walk in, the atmosphere is very much upscale Mexican restaurant. My husband and I sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly. He asked what we wanted, I got the El Jefe Margarita and my husband got the Cadillac. The drinks were well balanced and the service continued to be amazing throughout our meal. We tried the tacos, enchiladas and small burrito. I thought the food and drinks were reasonably priced for what you got and the food was authentic. I've added this place to my rotation and can't wait to come back!!
