This is a great spot. The deli is the bomb! Every sandwich I’ve had has been amazing. Next door is a full service restaurant and bar with Peroni on tap. Excellent food there, too. Really nice hidden gem in Granite Bay.

I just love Dominick’s and eat here regularly. Lunch I get the Italian hoagie or the cheesesteak sub with everything. Dinner I love the lasagna and I get the clam with garlic and broth appetizer. Omg it’s the real deal!!Kid-friendliness: Lovely dining with family friendly. Dining outside is very family friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Ok for a wheelchair

First time here. Our table had calamari, chicken alfredo, eggplant, and snapper. The bread was amazing. The meal was fantastic! The wait staff were wonderful! We will definitely go back.

I love it when we find places that have an unassuming facade, but thoroughly surpass your expectations. Dominick’s definitely hits this mark and I highly recommend it.Our visit was with the family and we ordered a couple of appetizers. The first was the antipasto which included cheeses, salami, coppa, olives, roasted peppers, and more. Complimented by a drizzle of olive oil, this was a perfect start to the meal. The next appetizer was a shrimp bruschetta. Personally I do not eat seafood, but I’m told it was good, the shrimp cooked well and the crostini delicious. For entrees, I personally had the mushroom risotto with grilled chicken and a side of minestrone soup. The soup was actually the best minestrone I’ve ever had, unfortunately I don’t have a big stomach so I couldn’t eat the whole bowl if I wanted to eat my actually entree. The soup is loaded with lots of vegetables and beans, there is no pasta in the soup which was a nice difference. The risotto was cooked very well, it was creamy and very mushroom flavor forward. However, if I had to critique the dish, it was under seasoned and could have used a nice pinch of salt and pepper. The grilled chicken was probably 2 seconds away from overcooked and the cut had some grisly parts. Overall, flavor is there, just some seasoning and maybe a bit more quality in the chicken and this would have been so good. The rest of the family had their two specials, the Chilean Sea-bass and New York Steak with Shrimp, fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken, and cioppino. My better half had the cioppino and was in heaven. Absolutely devoured it and really enjoyed the quality of the seafood. My son had the fettuccine and was very happy with his meal. The New York Steak and Shrimp was completely eaten, but there was some critiques with the Sea-Bass. Again, I don’t personally eat seafood, so I’m taking this from others to share. The sea-bass was floured and cooked, but not fried and also didn’t include a sauce or some sort of compliment to the fish. It did have a lot of delicious vegetables, but the lack of a sauce was missed. That being said, the service was great. Our waiter was fun, funny, and we were well taken care of by the whole staff.Overall, I will be going back and trying other food. It’s got a great atmosphere, the music was nice - not too loud and played modern songs. So, if you’re looking a good Italian place, definitely look at Dominick’s.

This is a review of the deli only. On trips to the lake, we always pick up sandwiches here. Although it's not a true Italian deli, it does do a good job with what they have. I say that as the meats I saw are Boars head basics. The fresh baked bread helps. Also, the oil, vinegar, and seasonings make it pretty darn good. Don't get me wrong, I like it. Just wish there was some true Italian meat options to take it up a notch. Be advised, order by phone as it gets busy and there's a long wait for in store orders..

Great Sandwiches on the deli side. Great food on the restaurant side. Attentive service on a pretty busy night. I'll definitely go back again. The best Italian restaurant in Placer county.

An Italian restaurant with Italian staff!!?? What a concept??!! Food was good, chicken panini sandwich & a cheesesteak. Now it’s the best cheesesteak in Sacramento, I’ll ask for more jalapeño peppers next time. The cotto cheese was a nice change!

Hostess is absolutely rude and unprofessional. If you come in anywhere near 45 minutes to close she will turn you away. This is not one but time but 4 times or more. We will not return due to her behavior. Don't work at a restaurant if you can't stay a little late. The servers are great but the dark hair hostess is rude and clearly has attitude and doesn't want to work. Go to the other italian restaurant. Way better service when you walk in.
