Had an appetizer and drinks at the bar. Bethany makes the best expresso martini in Sacramento.

This is a complaint about the rudeness of the staff, with seating.
My husband and I made a month in advance reservation for Valentine’s Day for their Valentine’s Day menu. Arrived on time @5:30pm, all sections available, they set us up in the middle of the restaurant, where there was the most food traffic. Although we called and asked them to note that we like to sit next to each other, and asked nicely for them to move away from the middle of the restaurant- to somewhere more intimate - the floor manager told us “no we can’t move you and that everything is set up the way it is.” The way it was handled by the floor put a disgusting taste in our mouth and we left, zero accommodation was made or even offered. This is a stark contrast from the other times we have ate here.

The atmosphere was cozy, friendly, and professional. Gave Michelin star, but friendly. The food was EXCEPTIONAL. LIFE CHANGING. And our server, Parker, was impeccable. Service was Michelin grade.

I won a gift certificate for a 3-course meal for 2. Went there last night. The food was amazing. Portion sizes were generous but not ridiculously so. Our waiter was attentive without being a pest, and very sweet. He really cared about what we thought of the meal. I had the wild mushroom soup for a first course, and we both had the short rib main course. It tasted delicious and the meat was so tender you could cut it with a fork.
We will definitely be back.

Sadly I am pretty disappointed. Went here with really high hopes for our celebratory dinner and the food was not good... Waiter was great.
The porkchop was so tough after chewing for over a minute had to give up on the bite. Overcooked and tough. Outside was pretty blackened and burned
Drinks from the bar were pretty slow as well.
Whole life only sent back to the kitchen maybe 2-3 times but honestly it was awful.
Was hoping to try the tasting menu only to find out it wasn't available when we got there...
Atmosphere was pretty bad as well. A super loud group was at the bar and they just let them go and said nothing to quiet them down. Reserved a table a month in advance only to get sat right next to the door and got hit with a cold breeze every couple seconds.
Drove all the way from Downtown for this and it was definitely not worth it. 😒
Overpriced and disappointed by the food quality.

Another visit, another reminder that this kitchen continues to operate in a league of its own. I opted for the chef’s tasting menu with the wine pairing, and once again the experience bordered on the transcendent. The execution was precise, the flavors deeply considered, and the pacing confident — the sort of quiet mastery one expects from restaurants flirting with Michelin-level recognition.
The sommelier, in particular, deserves special mention. His pairing selections were not merely competent; they demonstrated a nuanced understanding of structure, balance, and terroir, elevating each course to a higher register. It is rare in Sacramento to encounter wine service this thoughtful and technically sound.
My parents’ entrées were equally well-prepared, each dish arriving with the kind of consistency that suggests a kitchen unwilling to compromise even on its busiest nights.
For the greater Sacramento region, this restaurant remains a standout — a place I continue to hold in the highest regard, not out of sentiment, but because meal after meal it earns that praise.

The unfortunate part was a long hair was found in my food and another dish had to be brought out. I have a bald head so it wasn't mine.

The food was amazing and the service was even better! We split the beet salad and gnocchi starters and they were both so yummy! The sauce on the gnocchi was especially delicious. We also split the cod entree and it was cooked to perfection. The kitchen even split the starters and entree for us which we definitely were not expecting. Desserts were also great and it was nice to be able to treat my mother to this special experience. She is still raving about it.

Worst place to order online.
Got my order online to go on 9/27/2
On 9/28/25 by 5:58pm by the time to pick up the told that my order never been cooked.
Instead they offer wait 5 minutes to wait to get my order.
I believe it's not possible for Grilled Fileton what cost $75.00 per dish get ready for 5 minutes. I refuse to get one.
So, I got my refund nex day.
If you wanna get good time go in, bu not get order online and to go.

Super nice farm to fork restaurant in granite Bay. Great service, wonderful bar selection and craft cocktail drinks. I went specifically for the burger and was not disappointed. In house ground hamburger patties along with in-house made pretty much everything from bun, pickles and yes house made American cheese. The drinks were outstanding as well.
