We had dinner with our friends on Sunday night and was seated immediately. The service was good and our server checked on us several times. - California roll: good decent rolls but the portion was rather small. - Tonkatsu & california roll bento box: the pork cutlet tasted good and crunchy but the cut was very thin. For dinner price, the portion was small and my hubby was still hungry after finishing his bento. - Saba shioyaki & tempura bento box: the fish was good but they only gave 3 small pieces. The salad dressing was good though and the veggie tasted fresh. The tempura pieces were crunchy and well cooked. But again, the portion was small and I was still hungry after the meal. The taste & service were good but the price & portion were not that I expected so it's 3.5 stars for me.

I don't eat raw meat pls ask if you want me to eat raw, we'll done? My first time ordering. Instead of me eating I still have to cook my meat. Amd teriyaki sauce over it? Weird bento box. Very disappointed! Almost 20 bucks

I ordered food here hoping to love it with all of the positive reviews but sadly ended up being disappointed. I ordered the salmon shioyaki bento box with the California roll. Unfortunately, the salmon portion was so small, flavorless and was almost dehydrated, missing that flaky crispy texture it's meant to have. I'm also pretty sure that the lemon I was given was bad, it was a dark yellow color which I naively thought was seasoned or something along the likes but instantly realized that the slice had gone very bad, essentially ruining anything I put it on. The salad and California roll were okay, basic but met it's criteria, although the salad was not cool or crispy, granted I ordered takeout so it could have gotten wilted or warm in the process. I also ordered the vegetable yaki soba as well which really really missed the mark. It didn't have any of the good sweet and tangy flavor profile yaki soba (even veggie) is supposed to have. Although, on the plus side, there were lots of veggies packed inside. Overall, I didn't enjoy the food, and the price really wasn't worth it, but the two stars are for the prompt and kind service I was given as well as the possibility that the flavor declined a bit because I ordered takeout and that I ordered about 10 minutes after opening for the day.

My friends were craving oyster shooters after a day at the river. It was my first time having it, and needless to say they were really delicious. I am now a huge fan and came back a few times for more especially in the summertime. This place is ordinary not too fancy with chill vibes with exceptional food. Their other dishes were equally as flavorful. The service was good, lots of parking available, and no reservations needed.

We came into Hazumi and loved it. They have a great selection of rolls and a good kids menu. Rolls were delicious and we all enjoyed what we ordered. Service was quick and we liked the laid back ambience. We'll be back!
