My family and I visited Los Zarapes Mexican Restaurant yesterday. We wanted to try the food that we were considering having them cater for a very special 80th birthday party.
We definitely found our new spot. The restaurant is nice and clean. We were greeted so friendly by Jesus and then we met Anahi Ramirez the owner. This restaurant is family owned and operated. The food was delicious. I ordered carne asada with rice and beans. It was really on point. My family tried the different meats as well to help sample and nothing disappointed. Authentic and very tasty.
They will be catering our party and I have no worries that everything will be great. I live in a city that has like 10 Mexican Restaurants to choose from but Los Zarapes in Granite Bay is worth the short drive for me.
I highly recommend Los Zarapes Mexican Restaurant.

To be honest, I was very dissatisfied. I ordered tellapia to go. It was cooked quickly, but when I arrived and sat down to eat, I was very angry. Tellapia, I found one small piece, the rest was onion and a few mushrooms covered with some kind of red pepper seasoning. The rice was poorly cooked, in general, I will not come here again.

Very friendly and professional service. Mexican Restaurant foods very good guacamole, salsa chips and carnitas beans with vegetables salads tostada salad 🥗, and very good carnitas burrito, and very good chicken LaCrema dinner entree.

Absolutely 💯 authentic food here!
Great service but the food was very plain and boring between the burrito, tacos, quesadilla, and sides. For the price and the flavor, I won't be going back.
Update: Just getting over some sort of food poisoning after 3 days. My wife didn't get it so must have been in the asada burrito. Maybe an accident or a fluke but now I won't be back for sure.
The food was excellent, well worth the visit.
