Mount Saint Joseph Wine, Granite Bay, CA, January 27, 2024 My wife and I arrived at about 4:30 PM on a Saturday afternoon to listen to our good friend Randy Carey play music. We grabbed a seat at the bar and we're given waters and menus. Our server's name was John and he took great care of us. They have a nice selection of wines ranging from Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc on the white side to Pinot Noir, Mouvedra, and Cabernet Sauvignon on the red side. Bottle prices ranged from about $25 - $50. They don't do individual tastings on music nights; however, they were pretty generous with us and let us try a few of the different wines before we decided to get a bottle of Pinot Noir. Actually, everything we tried was delicious. They also have some light bites. We decided to get a charcuterie board that came with lots of great meats, cheeses, crackers, fruit, and nuts on it. This is a cozy place and the overall vibe was very enjoyable and inviting. We'll come back!

What a small and pleasant surprise! Quality wines and even better service! Laurie is sooo friendly and knows her stuff. Stop in for a quick tasting or purchase wine bottles to go. I highly recommend stopping in!

Great staff, awesome wines and comfortable bar. We always have a great time bringing out of town family and friends here. The staff is incredibly attentive and the ambience is awesome. Enjoyed some wine, charcuterie with live music in the background. Highly recommend coming here!

Going to Mount Saint Joseph Wines' tasting room in Granite Bay is always fun, the service staff, Laurie and crew, are gracious and welcoming. Oh yes, the wines are excellent too. Hungry, have a house made charcuterie board, they'er delicious. Whether there is entertainment or not, the atmosphere is always very pleasant and you will always leave having a new friend or two.

My husband and I stumbled upon this hidden gem one Thursday night when we were looking for someplace to have a glass of wine. We were amazed to find a winery with a tasting room that is open in the evening hours! And the wine was delicious! We joined on the spot and have not been disappointed. We love the live music nights, the people we meet each time we go and all the staff that make us feel at home. The wine is all grown locally and we are especially fans of the full- bodied reds. The whites can hold their own as well! We look forward to many tastings to come!

Been to Vin Uva a couple of times but overall I'm a huge fan of Mt. Saint Joseph Wines.I'll touch on the wines briefly. I'm a self-proclaimed wine snob and tend to be picky. St. Joseph wines have never failed me. I actually love the wine so much I served their Tempranillo and Chardonnay at my wedding. As for the tasting room...Note the tasting room is not at the winery. Also note this winery is small but growing so it's not fair to compare them to the "high-end" wineries you may visit outside the city. But they all share a passion for wine and are very knowledgeable and friendly, and many of their wines have been winning awards, which is fun to celebrate.Plus, if you're looking for an upcoming and coming wine, I highly recommend this one. I haven't tried any of their food or been there for the live entertainment yet, but hope so in the near future!
