Willow Wood always delivers. It's hard for me not to order the vegetable ragout with polenta or the chicken, Jarlsberg, and pasilla pepper sandwich because they are so good, but every time I branch out I'm equally wowed. Casual, unpretentious, and super yummy. You can't go wrong!

Willow Wood Market Cafe offers a charming and inviting atmosphere, making it an enjoyable place to relax and dine. The service was warm and attentive, which added to the overall experience. However, the food and drink offerings were a bit of a mixed bag.

I started with a Cafe Mocha, and while it was decent, it came served in a bowl rather than a cup, which was somewhat off-putting. For the premium price, I expected a more refined presentation and richer flavor to match. Unfortunately, it fell short on both fronts.

For my meal, I had the Benedict Florentine. It was well-executed and enjoyable, but it didn’t leave a lasting impression. In contrast, my wife’s Chicken Salad was a highlight. After sampling it, I can confidently say it was much better than the Florentine — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. It was easily the standout dish of our visit.

Overall, Willow Wood Market Cafe shines with its delightful ambiance and friendly service, but the inconsistency in the food and drink leaves room for improvement. That said, the Chicken Salad is a must-try if you’re planning to visit!

Overall a good experience at Willow Wood Market Cafe. We ordered a brunch dish and a lunch dish. Both were beautifully plated. Food came out very quickly from the kitchen. The chicken salad plate is delicious. The Benedict Florentine was good but the cold fruit next to the warm food was not great. Would have preferred a separate fruit dish so it wasn’t warm. Service was good. Atmosphere was busy both inside and out. Definitely on the higher price range for brunch. Will return.

Parking: Free street parking in front of the restaurant or nearby

Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly. Several customers had children with them.

Can’t believe I’ve never written a review about this place since I’ve been going here for over 10 years. These guys never fail to provide the best service and food that one could hope for. All around superb.

The only place in the tri bay area that serves a consistently great cappuccino.

Fantastic fresh local food that's made with honesty and love. Great service in a quaint atmosphere. Be prepared for the prices. 2 eggs and toast (which are exceptional ingredients and done up all different ways) will run about $17+ The food was delicious, just kind of expensive. I'll still go back for the high quality food and to support a local business.

One small thing, the crust on the toast was so crunchy I could have used a steak knife to cut through it (and was only provided with a butter knife). This is definitely a knife and fork entree, even though it's "toast"

We stopped in for a pre wine tasting lunch and it was great. I have been wanting to stops in here and this seemed like a perfect time. We came right at the transition from breakfast to lunch so it took a bit longer than I imagined for service, but it made sense! We really loved all the food we got and I definitely would like to try more things on the menu. Chicken pot pie was a hit! As we’re the salads, I think the flavor of the actual polenta was a little bland, for my liking, but I think the toppings made up for it a bit. Will definitely be coming back.

So cute and friendly staff. We had our pups so sat in the "greenhouse". They brought our pups water which was so nice. Breakfast was delicious and we can't wait to go back. I had the black forest scrambled eggs with a cappuccino and the hubs had his usual bacon, eggs, potatoes, english muffin served with raspberry preserves and fresh salsa for the eggs. Everything was perfect and so delicious.

A very pleasant place where the cuisine is tasty but also hearty. The ice tea is deliciously refreshing.

I recently learned I can not eat wheat, so I had them to a sandwich with no bread and put it on top of a cup of their polenta so amazingly good.
My only complaint is that it's a little bit loud inside when it's crowded
