Malt Shoppe At the Cabin Fever

Great tasting food, and no wait times to speak of.I ordered the fish and chips and it was quite a good meal for the price.

We had a fantastic at this restaurant. We liked the excellent ambience and the menu. The waiters were very personal. I am glad we eventually decided to visit this restaurant.

This is a friendly family owned business with a nice view of Green Valley Lake. I think their fish and chips are the best I've had in my 61 years. I enjoy the casual ambience, and conversation with other visitors and locals is readily available.

Food was good, prices slightly high... no biggie right? Well the service was slow... I assume the guy was the owner, again no biggie really, we were just relaxing on a motorcycle ride. Went to pay, they told me $1 charge to use the credit card AFTER he couldn't break my $100 bill. It's 2019, you have to have change for $100 c'mon. So my choices were to pay the $1 surcharge or take of without paying the check I suppose? Okay, so I pay the $1 charge and tip $1 less out of principle. Kind of ridiculous.

This place has one of the best burgers I have ever had.

The food was very hit and miss. My family got a burger, two BLTs, and a breakfast combo. The burger and the breakfast combo seemed pretty fair for the price, but the BLTs were underportioned. That said, the service was very friendly and the environment was nice, and other customers were even praising the food, so we may have just picked a bad item.

This place has great Chinese food! We had Shrimp wonton soup and Dumplings.

We stop here every time we are in town. The owners are super sweet and their banana shake is the best!!! The toppings to the salad are so fresh and crisp. They also have wifi which is such a convenience if you dont have great cell service up there

Overall, very pleasant experience. Food was exceptionally good. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere of their kids playing was very endearing and sweet. If you're in Green Valley Lake, take a chance at the local establishment for it's charm and good eats.

I saw some notes on Yelp that this place is closed. This is not true, I just walked by there and it is open (Friday 4.12.2019), although it appeared to be closed yesterday when I walked by there, so perhaps they are only keeping weekend hours? I have been there many times and enjoyed their burgers, beer and free WiFi. As far as I know it's the only restaurant in Green Valley Lake.
