Angel is the best server! Halibut was best I've ever had! So disappointed Jason's is closing!!
Went out to eat at Jason's as the restaurant is closing “forever” on Sunday, 9/19/2021. This is because of the owner's decision to not renew their lease. This is another loss resulting from the pandemic. ?
Great place with good food and friendly, capable staff. Pity its closing for good: last day is September 19, 2021.
We are all very sad that they will be closing very soon. It's been my “go to” place for many years.
After having a reservation and sitting down at a table and taking our order, it took over an hour and we still did not get served our food. By 8 we decided to get up and get out. Jason's is closing soon so no lose altho' I use to love the place and esp. my favorite waiters, Ever and Angel! Sad that I will not see them again.
It was pretty obvious they were slammed. Our reservation was taken by another party through a mixup at the hostess desk. Tables that were seated earlier wer not turning and then the situation just got out of hand. I have been in the restaurant business for a long time. There are simple tricks to that would have alecietaed some of the problems. First when walk ins are seated and you have a lot of reservations on the books give them a time limit they have to be out by. If they are sittting too long with reservations it is customary for a manager to give them a slight nudge by approaching the table. The food was fantastic when it arrived. We were having fun but everything took ages to get to us waiter,,food and drink. I wish them well. I understand how hard it is to get people to work in restaurants now. Everyone was working their tail off.
Great restaurant with excellent food made really well made will return eventually.
as it was in the beginning Jason's attention to offering his patrons a memorable dining experience never strays from his resolve.I transitions form his first location and have continued to appreciate his desire to offer a fusion of flavors to traditional basic foods. His greatest accomplishment is wine offerings which complement spices he introduces .Not a run of the mill wine list. He appears to understand his local following and yet in many ways should be viewed as a destination location . many visits have not disappointed and well worth the travel . I would be remiss if I did not note however that while I am a senior and former working musician. I am not deaf. Yet the amplification of the music combo detracted from the evening. The amplification overwhelmed the out door space . I will return . You will as well.
Great spot with a great band. We do feel when we dine at Jason's that we are disappointing to the waiters because we don't eat a lot and we don't drink much alcohol so our checks (and tips) tend to be less than they might prefer. But it's a fun place to eat outside and enjoy live music!
A group of six of us have been comming to Jason's for the last 10 plus years and have always had a great time and great food. Now last night it crumbled, food took forever and when it did arive one of us was served 10 min before the rest. The server was unpleasant and impatient, and to top it off the food was not what it used to be.

Angel was our server & he is a great guy. This place has changed for the better...not that it was bad before the change of management, but things like a coat of paint & a few new pictures on the wall helped in this evolution. We really like the place, the food & the people.
Jason's is fine if you want an old-school environment with wonderful outdoors, hit-or-miss service, and average food. The prices are high, the ambiance is nice, the band is loud, the staff is harried, the bar is adequate, and the food is forgettable.
Dinner and service were excellent
This is probably my worst experience at Jasons. I was served two pretty bad drinks. The bartender was pretty fantastic though and didn't charge me for them because I didn't really drink them. He was a totally nice guy. I think he did a great job as a waiter as well. I have to say that the food was overly salty. I had the special.
Wonderful special day! We had made a late reservation and they accommodated us changing tables. We were celebrating our new engagement and in addition to a delicious slice of chocolate cake the server also gave us two glasses of wine on him. It made us feel so celebrated. The rattlesnake pasta was also delicious.
