This is not the same quality as the Yuba City location. The portions are much smaller, and the plates themselves are smaller. The prices are the same so there is no discount for less food. We were all pretty disappointed, but happy they were open when the Yuba City location was closed for another week for vacation.
Age-old Mexican restaurant family-owned and operated since 1971. The place was packed when we visited for a late lunch. It has an extensive menu of traditional and specialty cuisine. I like ordering the Special de la Casa.
It’s simply the best Mexican food around. It’s been in business over 50 years. It’s connected to its Mexican store. It’s also home to the Casa Lupe tortilla factory. They also have a mini tortilla machine right there in the restaurant that kicks out fresh tortillas. You will love their food. It all starts with the chips and salsa. The friendly staff is the best.
