Had a wonderful lunch with the wife at Los Charros Taqueria the other day in Gridley. The Molcajete was wonderful and tasty. The bowl could have been warmer. Extra cheese and just beef and chorizo was wonderful and to order. Wife got the asada tacos and the barria taco was on point. Love the salsa bar.
This was the most amazing Mexican food!!! We stopped in on our way to Sac from the Redding area. Totally worth the drive. I wish we had one closer to home. You can bet I'll be stopping in again on my next trip south.
We ate here for dinner with my vegetarian dad, pescatarian stepmom, carnivore husband, and omnivorous me. Everything was delicious. Dad had cheese enchiladas and loved them. Stepmom had shrimp quesadilla, also loved, and it was huge!. Husband had carne asada and was blown away. I had the molcajete and oh my god, so good. Perfect spiciness. Amazing flavor. The nopales (cactus) were a happy surprise. Everything was great, the staff were so nice and helpful, too. We will be coming...
