Gridley CA, Railhouse Pub And Grill

Just a hands down great place to sit and enjoy a meal. I have been here on several occasions and at each the food was amazing. With its small town feel as you walk through the front doors to their staff who greet and seat you quickly. All with big smiles. And not those fake smiles just trying to earn tips like some places. Food is in front of quickly and prices are fair. Definitely will be returning soon.
Oh and I HIGHLY recommend the Stagecoach Burger with the garlic fries. Sided with an order of their Mac and Cheese Balls!!!

This was a roadside stop for us and I was pleasantly surprised. Good sandwiches and a big menu. They serve plenty of local beers on tap and I enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. Nice people. I'll definitely make a stop anytime I'm hungry in Gridley.

The atmosphere is fun. The service was very good. I had a French dip. It was good, but I have better at another restaurant. I haven't been there before, but I will try again and see how the other dishes are.

I have tried the Railhouse 3 times since moving here and even though everyone I've met here recommends it, I found that all 3 times my food was so greasy that I couldn't finish it. I still left a tip because the service was great, but I don't think I'll be going back.

Stopped by today for the 3rd time in as many years but must have forgotten just how great this place is! The food was awesome and the prices are crazy good. I felt like it was 2015 with those prices. The customer service was great and respectful. I had a yummy western burger, 1/3 lb. of delicious meat, bbq sauce, onion rings and cheese with side of fries or onion rings for 12.99! Oh my... beer, 8.99, mixed drinks, 10-12 bucks. If you haven't been there, go and see what I'm talking about ;-)

This is a winner all around. We had 3 different sandwiches and they all were ?. The wings were about as perfect as you can get. We're not sure but they may have the best onion rings ever and the fries were right there as well. Service from Danielle ( sorry if that's not how you spell it) was exceptional, attentive and very pleasant. We loved the atmosphere and we all agreed that we can't wait to come again. Awesome experience!

I have a rant on the railhouse. We stopped going there a long time ago because of issues with the food being bland and improperly cooked. My husband and I both work full time and there are very few places in Gridley to get food from, so we decided to give it a shot after a long week and it being very hot out so we didn't want to heat our house up for one night. We ordered 5 burger meals and a couple appetizers for our family of 5. Most of the meals were ok but the burger I ordered, which was a mushroom burger, low and behold, had 2 small slices of mushrooms on it. So we decided to call up the restaurant and try to get it fixed. While on the phone with the lady who answered and after being put on hold temporarily she decided to then gas light my husband and tell him he was too aggressive and referring to an incident with his mother that happened over 5 years ago when they both use to drink (both sober now), she told him he was 86'd from the restaurant (keep in mind we went in and ate in there together a few times 3 years ago). I don't understand why they refuse to fix the issues they have with their food and why they have such horrible customer service when called out on the food.

Absolutely wonderful place! Great service, great atmosphere, didn't have time to eat but the drink was good and they make brewed unsweet tea, can also add flavor. Highly recommend!
