2 stars for the food and drinks (the drinks are more for people that don't like coffee taste and prefer flavored drinks) but 5 stars for the atmosphere of the place which is very unique.

Cute place with OK coffee, but the new owners doubled the price of everything. Most expensive coffee in the sierra

Excellent atmosphere and coffee, but not the best value for breakfast, food options. The dirty sexy chai was excellent and the lavender latte was good. The bagel sandwich was fairly good as well and it is probably one of their more filling options for when the breakfast burritos are sold out. However the quiche is a terrible deal. For $10 you get a tiny slice that is probably less than half a meal. Lastly, the barista wasn't the friendliest. It felt like we were imposing just by being there.

This place was / is a gem! The food was amazing and so was the coffee! The best part though was the barista. She was incredibly personable and really made the experience. Even shared some cool things to do around town! Highly recommend will definitely be making it a stop any time we are in the area.

Mountain Sage coffee has everything: great coffee, earrings and things by local artists, squashy armchairs, books, a busy community board, and a very kind staff member/barista who discussed the menu with us at length before we ordered. I only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the ambiance!

Not pictured: the delicious frozen lemon bars we devoured in about five seconds flat.

It is a great spot for a quick stop on the road—refreshing coffee and peaceful vibes. They offer tasty overnight oats, perfect for a light bite. Cash is preferred, as digital payments include a service charge. Simple, cozy, and convenient for travelers.

It’s our first time here and we loved the atmosphere. We ordered a lavender and lemon zest coffee, expecting it to be an iced latte. However, it arrived as a hot. We requested a cup of ice to make it cold, but one of the baristas was rude and made it seem like we were causing her trouble.

When we ordered the coffee, the barista should have asked if we wanted it iced or hot. We only discovered later that a 12oz order is not iced, while a 16oz order is. Obviously, we would have ordered the 16oz if we had been informed while we were ordering it.

Overall, the place is great, but the service definitely needs improvement.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but this coffee shop it too good not to. They have great coffee, food, and a great vibe. It’s also a plant nursery which is great. But be prepared to be sweaty cause there’s no ac and it’s hot inside. Great vibe and coffee! I wish they had some type of rewards system, but nonetheless, great place!

Unique setting. Very cool! Be prepared to wait a bit for your cafe on a weekend, but it'll be worth it

Loved the rustic setting of the coffee shop. They have a creative collection of coffees. The greeneries surrounding the shop are beautiful and perfect for having a relaxed sip of coffee.
