Cute place

Is this even cappuccino? It’s not warm, the milk is not even steamed, just pored from the fridge. Hella drink.

This is definitely a sweet spot to stop on your way to Yosemite or as you leave heading back home. The bounty of plants and seedlings and flower varieties reflects the local area. Try a lavender green tea or a Matcha with coconut milk for something new and wander outside or visit the thrift shop or the art gallery and find something new.

The food was delicious but too pricy for the small size, especially the quiche of the day. On top of that, half of the menus weren't available. But the rooms are cozy, the atmosphere is nice.

Very good coffee and super friendly / great atmosphere, but marked down one star due to day old pastries served in the morning

Lattes are cloyingly sweet to the point it’s not drinkable. Frittata and quiche seems like it came from the frozen Safeway section. We threw everything out - $40 down the gutter

2 stars for the food and drinks (the drinks are more for people that don't like coffee taste and prefer flavored drinks) but 5 stars for the atmosphere of the place which is very unique.

Cute place with OK coffee, but the new owners doubled the price of everything. Most expensive coffee in the sierra

Excellent atmosphere and coffee, but not the best value for breakfast, food options. The dirty sexy chai was excellent and the lavender latte was good. The bagel sandwich was fairly good as well and it is probably one of their more filling options for when the breakfast burritos are sold out. However the quiche is a terrible deal. For $10 you get a tiny slice that is probably less than half a meal. Lastly, the barista wasn't the friendliest. It felt like we were imposing just by being there.

This place was / is a gem! The food was amazing and so was the coffee! The best part though was the barista. She was incredibly personable and really made the experience. Even shared some cool things to do around town! Highly recommend will definitely be making it a stop any time we are in the area.

Mountain Sage coffee has everything: great coffee, earrings and things by local artists, squashy armchairs, books, a busy community board, and a very kind staff member/barista who discussed the menu with us at length before we ordered. I only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the ambiance!

Not pictured: the delicious frozen lemon bars we devoured in about five seconds flat.
