The cutest little shop with a lot of adorable wears and things to look at. The ice cream was delicious, and I was able to walk around while I ate. I was super careful, tho. Lots of sovernieers and sweatshirts and notebooks.

Everything I pick up in here is a treasure! You have to stop if you're passing through! Everything is very high-quality, trendy, and all around fantastic. This is not just some plain old gift shop, don't forget the ice cream!!

We had our Grandkids up for New Years weekend and decided to treat them to our favorite ice cream store. They all loved it! So grateful that The Grove Mercantile is here in Groveland! Not only do they have the yummiest ice cream and the sweetest employees, they also have fabulous items for sale. Today all of their Christmas merchandise was 40% off. What a great little store! Quality and attractive merchandise and the ice cream is AMAZING! Handmade in store like you just don't find anymore. Such quality. We found this little gem and had to come back the next day to enjoy another scoop! If you're in Groveland...or even just passing through, don't miss stopping here

I love to go there. Not only for the ice cream which is unbeatable in selections but in taste. It is a fantastic gift store and the employees and owners are fantastic , gracious and wonderful to be around. Also parking is easy . I think it is the best store in town.

It's a cute little souvenir and gift shop in Groveland that also happens to sell ice cream. I wouldn't really call it an ice cream shop though. They have 8-10 pre-made flavors (not made on site) that they scoop out of commercial boxes. The flavors are just ok. Prices are very steep. They have super cool color changing spoons though.

IMHO We were looking for a place to park and found this cute little mall of shops and businesses. I saw the word "mercantile" and knew we would be going in there! Such a cute little shop offering souvenirs, clothing, gifts, funny tea towels, decor, artwork, and ICE CREAM!!! We were greeted by three young ladies as soon as we stepped inside. While I shopped, my husband asked permission to use the bathroom (reserved for customers). They kindly said, "Of course." I saw something that interested me, but I left without it. Later, I couldn't stop thinking about this piece of clothing and returned to try it on. Sadly, although I loved it, it didn't love me. However, I did leave with a scrumptious root beer float! Truly, it was the best root beer float I've ever enjoyed, and that's saying a lot! The ice cream was dense and yummy and totally refreshing. I was even given the A & W root beer can with the remaining soda to refill my float! No one has ever done that for me before! Thank you!!! I hope to return to Groveland and visit the Grove Mercantile again!

Alright listen y'all this is probably the best ice cream in California and it might be one of the best in the world. I get it, gelato Italiano and all - this is very much on par with our favourite ice cream place in Milano, and more than comparable to my personal favourite in London, so this should count for something. If y'all are driving to Yosemite you do stop here, and get yourself a chocolate espresso ice-cream, pronto. Y'all been warned.P.S. have a look at their ice cream spoons. No spoilers, but ...you gotta see that.
