They have another location that I know about besides Gustine. Patterson is the other place.”

“I am from San Jose, Ca but I was was planning my wedding at the Hotel Mission de Oro in Santa Nella for 4/27/24. I was looking for a bakery in that area that did wedding cakes at a reasonable price that had great reviews and came across MG Bakery in Gustine. Gustine is so close to Santa Nella so thought we would give it a try. I called and got in touch with Gladis who helped me throughout the entire process. She was so helpful and gave me so much guidance on what I needed. She suggested ordering cupcake samples to try out the flavors of the wedding cake.. she also gave me suggestions on what the best sellers were, what filling goes best with the bread and also gave me feedback on my budget. My husband and I drove from SJ to the bakery and tried them out and omg they were all so delicious!!! We ordered guava with custard filling, carrot cake with vanilla filling and strawberry with strawberry jelly. All were so good! The bread was so moist and the flavors were so different and tasty! I sent Gladis photos of my inspiration and they did exactly what I asked for. We ordered a 3 tier cake and also did an order of cupcakes and it was almost all gone.. haha. Luckily the hotel staff saved my husband and I a plate of cake. We got so much positive reviews from our guests on the bakery. The pricing was so reasonable and honestly worth more than what they charged because it was THAT GOOD!!! Oh and by the way- They also delivered the cake to the venue for a small delivery fee and set up for us. They put the cake topper on and the greenery on the cake and cupcakes. It was so stress free. She was kind of busy, but she always made sure my coffee was full, brought me another napkin, and even made time for a bit of chitchat. She made me feel like I was her only customer. I will be back again, hopefully Dulin will be working, as she is an amazing server.”

“The place itself is large with plenty of tables. The waitress brought us chips and a small bowl of salsa that was amazinly delicious and another small bowl of refried beans with cheese on top that were just right to eat with the chips.
We went to celebrate Mother's Day and we order several different dishes.
One of my son's ordered a Torta de asada, with lettuce, tomatoe onions, mayo and I think guacamole with fries that he hardly was able to finish because it was BIG and stacked.
My other son ordered a Campechana (shrimp and octopus) it had pieces of avocado, shopped tomatoes and onions, cilantro and a shrimp on the top. It had good flavor.
My other son ordered nuggets with fries which the fries quantity is huge.
Our daughter ordered Fish fillet with fries, refried beans and green salad.
And my wife and I shared a plate that had shrimp, octopus, imitation crab, fried green peppers with fried onions that was also good. It was served in a metal tray which was different from anywhere we've gone.
We would definitely come back to this place. The waitresses were kind and patient when taking our orders.
It's WORTH coming back.”

“This has to be the greatest tasting coffee I have had in a long time, the staff are amazing. This place is soooo much better than the crappy Starbucks that has recently opened here in Newman. This is the kind of place that you feel like you are at home. I can only hope the starbucks goes out of business soon, finally there is a place to just sit, enjoy a cup of coffee and just relax. The best part is after a couple of times, the staff knows you and what you like. It is awesome to just pop in and not have to worry about ordering. Gabby knows exactly what I want and is it so comforting to have a coffee shop that you feel like you are not just a face in the crowd, but a welcomed friend. Their chips are fresh, crisp and go well with any menu item you order. The chicken, seafood and meats are cooked well everytime. You can do phone orders too! I just love this place!”
