First off, let me say that hands down, the food here is absolutely delicious. As a self-proclaimed food snob when it comes to Italian cuisine (I've had the pleasure of dining in Italy), I can confidently say that this place ranks just below Tony's in San Francisco. Those are really the only two spots I’ll go to for authentic Italian fare.
However, on September 9th, I reached out to confirm if they would be open on Saturday, the 27th, at noon. I received a response confirming their hours from 11 AM to 7 PM. So, yesterday, three of us drove separately, all coming from an hour away, eagerly anticipating a great lunch. When we arrived at five minutes to noon, the restaurant was closed. Optimistically, we waited about 15 minutes, hoping they would open, but ultimately left disappointed.
As a bodybuilder who only gets one free meal per week, the hangry in me was bodybuilding hangry yesterday! I had a nagging feeling that morning something might be off, especially since I had noticed their Instagram bio had removed their hours and phone number. A quick check on Google Maps indicated they wouldn’t open until 3 PM. When I messaged the chef-owner about our experience, he explained he had an emergency and that staff would arrive at 3 PM. While I understand emergencies happen, I can’t help but feel this was an excuse. Given the discrepancies in the hours listed online and what I was told, it seems like there was a lack of communication about their actual availability.
Over the past year, it feels like this place has become increasingly inconsistent with its hours. They’ve gone from being open six days a week to five, then only for lunch deliveries, and now it’s a real hit or miss. It’s disheartening because the food is so good. I had plans for November with friends from over an hour away, but now I’m left scrambling to change those arrangements.
Pasta 209 has so much potential, and it would be a shame to see it falter due to these ongoing issues. I hope they can get their scheduling sorted out because I would love to return for that amazing food.

I have been following them on social media for a while now and had finally planned to visit them next week for my birthday when I saw they’ll be publicly closing. That being said I made time to come down (I live 1 hour away) to try it before they close and I can say that it is 100% worth it. Overall so delicious and so many layers of textures and flavors. 10/10. Can’t wait to see what they have in store.

Have enjoyed this place several times. It has never disappointed. It's a small location, I have only had it to go. The owner has ALWAYS been nice. The food is good in my opinion. I have tried several different pastas from them and they are ALWAYS good. Some small restaurants you go to the owners aren't front of house like he is. It's nice to have tasty food made by people that take pride in what they do and are welcoming to their customers. I recommend pasta 209 to anyone that has a craving for tasty pasta. They have pizza too, I haven't tried it yet, but I saw a couple eating at the restaurant and it looked and smelled tasty.

Worst customer service, ignoring myself and others and not even acknowledging we are standing waiting to give an order, lady asked for plastic utensils and said they Had them and didnt bother to get her any for the food she had in her hand, I guess since they cut their hours they also cut customer service. I wont go back and I wont recommend this place again.

I ordered one of the Tour of Italy bread bowls and oh my goodness!!! So good! The bread was super soft and the pastas were amazing! If you haven’t tried the bread bowls yet, you need to! Their food is always amazing and the owner is always so nice and welcoming! Prices are a little high but you definitely get what you pay for. New favorite spot!
Phenomenal!!! This little hole in the wall blew me away. I had the meatball sliders and they were heads and shoulders above anything have had in my 51 years. Even my own!! My girls had Pesto Chicken Alfredo and Chicken Alfredo and it was delicious. Ya get what you pay for. All three meals were around 60,ish. Well worth it!

Man at the counter was super kind. We got alfredo, pesto, and the meat ball Sliders and they all were so good and flavorful. The drinks are really yummy as well. The pomegranate one is my favorite. Focaccia is super soft and buttery. 10/10 would go again
Was extremely disappointed in my delivery order. It was scheduled for 8 and it was delivered at 7:20 so when I got home from work my food was already on my doorstep and cold. (If they were open earlier or later it wouldn't be such a problem.)And to my surprise and disappointment I was met with burnt food. Brussel sprouts are not black. If I'm paying $80 for a meal, I should have my food properly prepared and delivered.

We want to give Pasta 209 a huge thumbs up for the incredible food, incredible service, and incredible staff. We have been going to Pasta 209 for a few months and are blown away by Jason the owner and his staff for being sweethearts and love the conversations we have every time we go. We absolutely love the fresh food that is made everyday, our favorites are the volcanic fettuccine, fettuccine Alfredo, and so much more. We can't speak highly enough about this Italian food.
