I have had Farmer Boys in the past and have enjoyed the meal. Many items on the menu are delicious and a good value. Unfortunately, the latest visit was very disappointing. After seeing signs describing the pastrami, I decided to try the sandwich. I was hesitant because of the $16 price tag, but bought it anyway. I figured the price would equal a higher quality pastrami, but I was terribly mistaken. On the first bite, it was apparent it was a low quality meat. While I expect pastrami...

Good at location. This location seems a little slow, but I appreciate the business model because the food was fresh. Customer service was lacking. No smiles. Seemed like all the staff was having a bad day. No smiles even when they were explaining the menu options. Like I felt that their family member dies yesterday or today. I am not sure, just sad vibes. No smiles.

Short version:
A step up from fast food. Reasonable food for a reasonable price.

Long version:
I recently moved to a town with a Farmer Boys prominently on the route I drive each day. Looking online, I found they have an app which offered me a free cheeseburger (called The Big Cheese) with my first purchase. I'm all about free (or nearly so) stuff, so I headed over the next day.
