Love this establishment when meeting family or friends...the staff is welcoming. They do not rush you....they are very helpful in answering questions and again will refill whatever it is you are drinking long after the meal with not rush you to vacate the booth....thank you folks at Black Bear....

The only downside to this wonderful establishment is that everyone else loves it too! Wish they had twice the seating and twice the staff to help with the demand at peak hours haha.

I ORDERED THE GRIZZ.( LOOK AT MENU) IT SAYS ITS THE BIGGEST .i was disappointed the menu says comes with ham steak. I have been to restaurants that say the same and you get a round ham steak. THIS PLACE GIVES YOU A 1/4 HAM STEAK. WHERES THE STEAK!!!. IF ANYBODY FROM BLACKBEAR DINER READS THIS PLEASE HAVE THE MENU CHANGED TO READ A 1/4 HAM STEAK. I KNOW IN THE PAST I HAVE ORDERED THIS SAME ITEM AND I GOT A FULL HAM STEAK. I DONT KNOW IF ITS JUST THIS DINER DOING THIS OR ALL OF THEM BUT IT NEEDS TO STOP FALSLEY ADVERTISING THIS MEAL WITH A HAM STEAK
well the owner responded to my review. that was great .they gave me an email to respond to and i did . i left my phone number and email and the manager was suppose to contact me but i guess the manager does care about what the owner ask of him to contact me because i was never connected.

The food and the people are good, the hand carved bears and jukebox make no sense. They even have stuffed bears kayaking? It's gathered lots of dust, this place doesn't need a gimmick, it's good it's solid! Staff is good. Take home pies reminds me of Marie's calendar quality. Do me a favor and drop the additional stuffed bears
