Great selection, delicious bread, and a great owner. I am not Portuguese, but my husband is. So naturally, he shares the culture with me. I feel very comfortable going picking out some goodies when I'm in the area. I always know I'm going to have the freshest bread and have great conversation with the owner. We live in San Diego County, but I'm currently working in the area. I make it a point to stop by when I'm working out here. I just love coming here, and my husband says he's got the best papo seco!

Loved stopping in here while doing a job in Hanford. Very nice Portuguese gentleman showed me around the bakery... And it's not just a bakery! They have all sorts of products and cheeses and meats and amazing imported items from Portugal! We ordered some of the pastries and next time we'll get some of the breads and other fantastic items!

Great store! Owner is friendly and helpful. Great selection of portugese goods including but not limited to meat, sodas, teas, canned fish, candy, sauces, local dried Fava beans, and fresh taro. The in-house baked goods are phenomenal. This was my first time there, but I will be back. Two final notes 1. This place is Cash Only!! 2. Although he has "gluten free" items they dust with flour for the cupped items and there are no cross contamination procedures at all so if you are Celiac it is all a no go.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free items with major cross contamination. Not Celiac safe

This place has THE best Portuguese sweet rolls, period, but their whole bakery is awesome. They always have a variety of pastries and cookies. Their shop also carries many imported and American-made Portuguese goods, including cheese, linguica, soft drinks, and candies. Since this is a small business, don’t fully rely on their open hours listed online; check their Facebook page or signs posted on their front window.

Such a unique find for us. The gentleman, I assume the owner, was very kind and helpful. They only take cash. I was giving odd amounts of change to get an even quarter back and explaining to my kids how to count their money and change. He was so patient and offered a little praise for teaching them a simple but important skill in this age of plastic currency.

Awesome Portuguese bread! Usually have to call in-store for orders, because they sell out quickly. especially around the holidays. But it's totally worth it!

Yummy plus. Baked with care. Soft pillows of bread. Soft cheese to spread. Good people who care with pride and attention to detail. Worth the step and get extra. Cash only but ATM at gas station next door.

It's depressing that I even have to pass on this news to others. What happened to get more business by simply providing a delicious product and, in turn, getting more customers because others get to know about how you take care of your customers? Instead of Extortion and Deception, business practices focus on price gouging unsuspecting customers. Sorry, not sorry we are not coming back.

Amazing bread and cheese! I should have bought more to bring back to Arizona!
