I have always enjoyed dining at Chicken Shack; however, my recent experiences have been disappointing. The level of customer service, particularly during evening hours, has declined significantly. There is a staff member who frequently works at night and has been consistently rude and unprofessional in his interactions.
In addition, the restaurant has appeared unclean on multiple occasions. The dining area does not seem to be properly maintained, and there has been an unpleasant odor during my visits. Cleanliness and sanitation are extremely important in any food establishment, and I believe this location would benefit from closer attention to these standards.
During my most recent visit, I ordered buffalo chicken fries and received very little sauce, which did not reflect the quality or value I expected for the price paid.

There was garlic powder on my fries not the way they used to make them, the entire restaurant was filthy including the restroom, the server was very polite he was the best part of the visit.

I’ve always had a good experience here. I like their chicken wings and their fries are really good, they actually have potato in them! The customer service is good! Every time I’ve gone in they’ve been very kind and considerate. I hear a lot about how long it takes to get their order, but, me personally I go to a lot of wing places and that is the number one thing they all have in common. Wing places take a little time to get your order ready, so I don’t mind the wait. I recommend the wings tossed in just regular buffalo sauce with the fries. The servings are definitely well served, that’s is another highlight about this place.

My husband and I went through the Drive-thru. I had to use the restroom and went inside. If you saw how filthy those bathrooms were, you never would eat the food there! First, door going in filthy, the bathroom stall doors were filthy, toilets had mold in them. No toilet liners. It was disgusting! Sink dirty. If the bathrooms aren't even cleaned up, how is the prep area and how your food is handled?! Seriously disgusting!

I drive by here every day. The People says the chickens is good so I just thought everything else was good. I ordered a salad which was out of my budget because for $14. I better get a good salad. Very little chicken and my salad. They didn’t even check the lettuce. Half of it was bad. I recommend don’t even waste your time. I’m sorry for this bad review but the People needs to know.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but The Chicken Shack absolutely earned this one. The interior is disgustingly dirty — sticky floors, grimy tables, and nothing looks like it’s been cleaned in ages. There’s never a manager on site, and it shows. The employees are all very young and clearly not trained or held accountable for anything, especially customer service.
To make things worse, they charged me for an item that was actually sold out. I spent an entire week trying to get in touch with a manager for a refund, but no one ever answered or called back. I finally had to go through DoorDash just to get my money back.
Save yourself the headache — and honestly, avoid this place before you get sick. If the dining area looks like this, I don’t even want to imagine what the kitchen looks like.

The food is probably similar to how it used to be. The store is disgusting, the door to get in hasn't been cleaned in probably months if not more. Everything you touch is sticky. They don't even have trays for dine in anymore - it's all takeout containers. Less dishes to wash? The mens restroom is vile, and you can smell it from the entrance to the store. The urinal doesn't flush but is still being used. Hiring someone to clean wasn't in the settlement I guess. Use the drive thru if out of sight out of mind is your thing.

Smells like a toilet in there don’t know how people can even eat with that smell the food also rushly and poorly made. I’ve been to the one in Fresno and Clovis and they are far better. Won’t be back to this location 🤮🤢💩😷

Went with my family of 3 for lunch today. Absolutely horrible service, waited 45 minutes for our food and didn’t receive a milkshake we had ordered. Asked about the milkshake and waited another 25 min and didn’t receive it, asked for a refund and was told “They didn’t have time”. Never will we be back very dirty and unprofessional place

An awesome place to eat chicken fingers. The meat is tender and they offer generous portions. Their chicken sandwiches are also well crafted and delicious. Fries are another delight. Staff are friendly and provide great customer service.

Came in the store 9/11/25 at 7:27 PM to place a to go order. We ordered $51.69 worth of food. The order was completely wrong. We ordered 1. 3 piece chicken finger combo. 1. Buffalo chicken fries. 1 combo meal of a fried chicken sandwich. And 1 order of fried pickles. The order we received was 2 2-Piece chicken finger combos (I didn’t even know that was even on the menu) and 1 order of buffalo fries. 1 order of fried pickles. The chicken fingers were soggy and cold. When I attempted to call the place of business it took 3 times of me calling for them to answer, mind you it wasn’t even busy when we were in there. The woman on the phone said we can come back with our order and she’ll give me the chicken sandwich. I understand this was her way of making it “right” but now I’m having to let my food get cold while I drive back (use more gas) just for them to “correct” the order. It’s just frustrating after we decided to try chicken shack for the first time in a very long time and this is how it ended.
