It's that rustic place where every1 goes2 when home for the holidays. It's great running n2 people you haven't seen in years! Bartenders are kool. Really old building/establishment. It's rare that I go to bars n clubs. Busy on a Sat. Nite by 9.39 10pm.
The bartender was very good to me and I felt welcomed, even though I was dragging my suitcase and backpack, fresh off the Amtrak. It was a $3.00 ride to get here. She poured a proper shot( to the rim) and the lime was a fresh cut . The draft was very cold and no "dirty tap" lingering aftertaste. If you want to "dive " into a bar, I highly suggest and recommend The Sequoia Club. Topo ThompsonFrom Oregon.
This place is quite during the week but really turns up on a Thursday night after 9. Definitely needs at least 4 bartenders on a Thursday. Security on site would be nice considering it's the same crowd who is causing trouble week after week. Current staff is very friendly.
