My husband & I live in Tulare, but anytime we are in Hanford we have to stop by Zaytoona’s for our favorite dish! We are both creatures of habit & order the same thing. My husband orders the Zaytoona beef bowl, & I order the gyro bowl. Both dishes are always delicious, every single time. And the service, no matter who waits on us is superior! The staff here is so friendly, the cooks serve up delicious meals, and the prices on their menu are very reasonable. Needless to say, we are regular customers here!
Absolutely loved them!! Great spot in downtown Hanford. Tammy was our waitress and we adore her. They have outdoor seating we didn't get to use because of the cold and rain, but also tons of indoor seating. It was nice, roomy, warm. They were so kind to the kids (we brought 4) and so welcoming to us.
I tried every single type of baklava they had and sooooo good Plus great pricing The food was great portioned and even better pricing $10-$20 per plate Great portions
One of my favorite spots but more recently has been very disappointing. Lamb over cooked and presentation messy. Also, not very consistent. Sometimes sauce is drizzled over the meat other times on the side. Makes it difficult knowing what I'm gonna get.

Had a lovely, quick 2 course meal on a Sunday evening in October. Staff very friendly, food portions huge and yummy and price was so good. One of the better and cheaper meals we had on our 4 week tour of the western US.

Take out. Food was very good. Only complaint is that with four meals and an order of hummus they only give ONE piece of Pita. Such a fine meal to be cheap on pita. Did they expect us to eat hummus with a spoon?

I enjoyed my visit to Zaytoona. The service was extremely friendly. The rice and lentil soup were delicious. I found the hummus to have the right texture but be slightly bland. The floors were not the cleanest. Overall a very pleasant place, and I would go back if I was in the area.
