They were an hour late and took another hour to get food serve. The tacos were not good. Bad salsa. Bad rice. Only good thing was the horchata.

We've hired Borracho tacos on multiple occasions and everyone always agrees that the food is delicious! We've had them for both cooking onsite and drop off catering and both options are awesome! Tonya works with you on your order, and is responsive over email and on the phone! And when we've ordered drop off, they're always prompt (if not a little early)! The customer service is great and the food is consistently yummy. We don't even look at any other taco caterers when we plan our parties!

I chose Borracho tacos for my baby's first birthday mostly because they were the first ones to respond to me. I asked for a quote and they replied the same day. I planned this super last minute, like the same week as the party, so I was very happy with the response time. They have very reasonable prices.

I had them for a birthday party 60 people for 670 + deposit 50 came at 5pm, served from 6-8pm. Everyone said the tacos were okay. Al pastor was good. Had to pay extra for the carnitas $25, but sadly most my family said they were a bit too dry. Asada was okay, it lacked a lot of flavor. Personally, I understood what my family said because I love juicy carnitas and also some flavorful carne asada. My family also said the horchata and watermelon weren't fresh, we thought they were gonna be freshly made but it's the powdered kind. Lastly ran out of Cilantro and onion for the tacos, The beans they used were unfortunately Red beans/ Kidney beans. Good things were rice, salsa Also tip they don't provide utilities, plates, napkins, or cups. I am aware other taquerios don't do but they didn't give us a heads up when we put the deposit down. There Prices are reasonable, it was just disappointing they lacked on providing the good flavorful tacos, our choice beans, & actual fresh agua fresca.

I booked Borracho tacos for an event this weekend, the customer service was great, they responded to my inquiry within an hour. The cook we got was Juan and he was courteous, and professional. He did run half an hour late but he stayed an additional half an hour to make up for the time, so that was great! The set up was great and the tacos were also very delicious! I rate them a solid 10/10. I would definitely book them again!

I found Borracho Tacos on IG because Yelp wasn't giving good suggestions for a taco man. I booked them for my husband's 30th birthday/Halloween party. They were the only one's that didn't have a minimum number required (some places were charging over $500-600 for a minimum of 50 guest). For what we got for 40 people, we got carne asada, al pastor, and chicken, 3 salsa and chips, and horchata. But unfortunately right before our party we got a call that our cook got Covid so they weren't going to be able to cook for us. So instead of canceling our order they ended up catering it for half the cost (which was extremely nice because majority of our guests showed up late). But omg the tacos were delicious. Everyone at our party loved the tacos. My husband was extremely happy having tacos for his birthday. Thank you Borracho Tacos for being able to cater for us. Your food was delicious and we'll definitely recommend you to other people :)

The bad reviews are REAL. I learned my lesson for giving them the benefit of the doubt. I originally booked for 75 people, a month before the event I decided to make it 100 people. We came to an agreement and my updated invoice wasn't sent until I requested it which wasn't a big deal but I mean.. why not have a set contract. Whatever, Anyway, today was the day of my event. We agreed on 2pm arrival to serve at 3pm they arrived at almost 2:30. Let me start by saying that when I tell you I paid for 100 guests, Im expecting a lot of food. Long story short, I paid a thousand dollars for a SMALL tray of rice and beans and the "agua fresca" was so SMALL I wish I would have taken a picture of how tiny it looked compared to the regular agua fresca container my mom took as a back up. The salsas were provided in a small bowl that ran out within the first 10 minutes. (Mind you, not even half the guests had arrived yet when they begun serving.) the meats they provided for 100 people was a scam. They served late and left early. 3/4 of the guests got to eat because the meat had "ran out" Another thing, the guy who was cooking was burning the meat and scraping the residue and SERVING it with the tacos. I'll attach a picture because it's a see to believe thing. I found a separate Yelp account with nothing but bad reviews but I still decided to give them a chance. Of course, I would gladly give credit where it is deserved but definitely not here. ZERO out of 10 recommend. This was an expensive mistake but lesson learned. Book at your own risk.

What a wonderful experience! Just finished with our son's park birthday party and Borracho Tacos really came through. Everything looked great and on time, the service was EXCELLENT, and we received multiple compliments about how everything tasted. We highly recommend!
