Food was not fresh at all!! It was terrible, my mother vomited in the bathroom. The servers weren’t even smiling, from entering the door the girl was not even smiling or greating us. It is a very very smaaalll word saying the food was terrible, NOT FRESH.

The sushi selection was surprisingly fresh for a buffet, with vibrant sashimi and well-crafted rolls. I especially loved the teppanyaki grill station, where the chefs cooked up juicy steak and shrimp right in front of me—such a fun touch!
The seafood options, like the Cajun-style crawfish and plump fried shrimp, were highlights, bursting with flavor and perfectly prepared. For dessert, the Thrifty Ice Cream bar was a nostalgic treat, with unique flavors like Cotton Candy that rounded out the meal perfectly. The restaurant itself is clean, spacious, and well-organized, creating a comfortable vibe for families, friends, or even solo diners like me. The service was attentive, with plates cleared quickly and drinks refilled without me having to ask.
At $16.99 for lunch (Monday-Friday), it’s an incredible value for the quality and variety. East Buffet truly stands out as a hidden gem in Hawaiian Gardens, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Typical Chinese buffet. Went on a Saturday for dinner. They do not have snow crab legs. The sushi was good as well as the ice cream selection. They automatically add a 10 percent tip to your bill no matter how many are.in your party. The cost is about $30 a person

We wanted to come back to this place as it has been a while since we last came. This buffet’s menu has always been delectable and delicious. We were seated right away for an early dinner. Service is always top notch and the ambiance is great! Good for group dinners or just a regular family night dinner. They offer senior discounts for age 65 and over. This restaurant has been a regular for locals and visitors alike. We were glad to have come back to savor the deletable hot dishes. Price is $24.99 for dinner and really affordable and hoping that they do not increase their pricing. Kudos to the owner for maintaining the same quality from the start of their opening!

We came at 8:25 to eat and we are joining some of our friends. And the guy started yelling at us that we cant eat here. He can approach us kindly but instead he started yelling at us. DONT COME TO THIS BUFFET, its the worst
