I came in with high expectations but it was very bad. I entered and it was dead silent, no music or people, just silence. The worker was not very friendly, but the boba drink was the worst part. The boba was not flavored, even though there was brown sugar syrup in it, it was not sweet and there were some that were hard and chalky when I bit into it. The Taro smoothie was not sweet at all and this was the first spot where I felt like I didn't want to come back. bummed out

I've never written a review for a place, but I feel compelled to write one for this shop. Firstly, it was quite off-putting as the lights were off when we went inside. Nevertheless, I ordered my drink and it was subpar at best. But, what really threw me off was that the boba was tasteless and hard, that I had to spit each one out. Awful. Cashier was nice though.

Drink was decent and got the sweetness level right at 3/4. The boba itself was not great but could have been worse. It was a little hard. There weren't any customers at the time so that could have why the boba wasn't fresh. Gave them the benefit of the doubt since they are new. The girl who rang me up was nice. I purchased a beaded bracelet for $4.

My fiancée and I ordered both the double green milk tea (honeydew and matcha) and a peach green tea with boba. The peach drink was good, but the boba wasn't the best I've had. It was slightly hard/firm and wasn't sweetened enough. My double matcha drink was interesting... I did not expect the honeydew flavor to be as strong and the matcha flavor was lacking. Not sure if we came on a bad day, but I had higher expectations for eightfold since I heard good things about it, especially at their costa mesa location.

Came right at 11am which is their opening. The store is pitch black. The sign says 11 and yelp says 11. Attempted contacting the Costa Mesa location to see if they could help. They don't have an answer

It was pretty good the tea tasted fresh, the boba was a bit too hard but other than that it was good. Great customer service but it was a little slow which is okay. The inside of the place was really nice and had cool stuffed animals and other things. Overall very nice!

You can taste the honeydew a little bit. She didn't blend anything to make this drink so it was not thick or anything like that. Marbled strawberry / raspberry - you dont need to choose one or other, it's flavors in one! Flan - came in a small cup. Might have been made elsewhere? Or homemade? I have no clue. It was not really like flan but more like yummy cream.

I rarely give out one star, but this was a one-star experience for me. I was on the way to take my son someplace in the area, when I decided I wanted a milk tea boba. The closest shop was Eightfold, so I called ahead for pick-up. All of that was easy enough, and the lady inside was super nice and gave me a stamp card. However, I hated my drink. It was bitter. Like really bitter. It had barely any sweetness, which I can live with, but the bitterness was off putting. I've never had a milk tea like this before, and I hope to never have another. Also, the boba was on the firmer side and didn't seem fresh. So

I tried their Nobel tea which was a mixed fruit drink and it was really good! The service was amazing and really liked the ambiance. Plenty on inside seating and some board games to play as well! My only complaint was the boba quality. It was hard and tasted like it's been sitting there all day. I would come back but not order boba.

Came here with a group of 5 on a Friday night and all our drinks came out fast considering there was only one person helping us. They did an awesome job and were so kind despite it starting to get busy. The drinks were all delicious too! P.S. Don't listen to the reviews about this place complaining that service is 'lacking' or slow. They have probably never worked a day in customer service or are just impatient a**holes who were never taught manners or common sense growing up. If an establishment happens to be understaffed, guess what? It's not the end of the world! They are obviously doing the best they can to get your order out to you in a timely manner, you will just have to wait a bit. Pretty common sense (you would think) and not a big deal whatsoever.Anywayssss, 5 stars all around. They have super cute boba plushies and awesome decor. The facility was clean too. Such a great area for a boba spot!! I'm so glad there is one in my area now. Will definitely be back!!
