June 23, 2019 Today I went back to get a beef bowl and it seems the guy is getting worse & worse....*(Cheaper & Cheaper with ingredients). I am not sure if we will continue to spend our money at this establishment after today? So one thing that sucks is we have spent a lot of money here we have been coming since the first week they opened. The picture this guy post on yelp are "FAKE" none of his foods look anything like the photos he is using. I use to get a chicken salad that they claim they don't make one? The beef he has been using is a very low quality and he chops it up so bad it looks like someone chewed up and spit it the bowl. They fill the bowl almost 99% with steamed rice and he then lines the top of the rice with chopped up beef pieces. The guy puts no teriyaki sauce on it and teriyaki to me mean...SAUCE! I looked at his photos and there is no way he made that food never since he opened has his food looked that good. The photos show the beef to be larger pieces not the tiny pieces looking like ground beef. The photos he is using shows the teriyaki with sauce like it should be yet he serves it dry and no sauce? They keep raising the prices which we understand but keep ripping customers off and your shop will be out of business soon. I will post my bowl I got today next to his photo of how he has you thinking that is what your getting?

The food is made to order which is great because it always comes out hot. Ive never had an unpleasant encounter with any of the employees, they're always super helpful. Id recommend getting the bento box so you can get a taste of everything. Their egg rolls are always crispy and fresh, severed with the best dipping sauce and the California rolls they have are delicious. I usually get the rib plate because its soooo worth the price. 10/10 This is the only place we get teriyaki bowls from and i also refuse to get egg rolls anywhere else. Super glad we came across this place over a year ago.

I tried this place because of the high Yelp rating. I discovered that their menu is essentially the same as Yaho Grill on Valley View St just south of Lincoln/Carson., with similar prices. I found this place to be a lot healthier than Yaho Grill. They give you a lot less meat here and doesn't taste as good. Did not finish my order when I got home. I think the high rating is maybe because the people coming here haven't tried many comparable places?

I give this place 3.5 stars. ATMOSPHERE It's pretty bare inside. Not much going on, but it's very clean. Good amount of seating. CUSTOMER SERVICE I had no issues. The guy was really nice and helpful. FOOD I wanted to order the COMBO PLATE that comes with tempura shrimp and a california roll with the beef, chicken, rice, and salad. But, the guy told me that they didn't have the california rolls. I think he should have offered something else, but he didn't, so I ended up just going with a plate without the extra sides. BUMMER! The food was good though! I was pleasantly surprised! It gives Flamebroiler a run for their money for sure. I will absolutely be back. The food's good, the portion sizes are great, and the price is the best part about it!

I stopped by on a Friday night. It was about 7:30 and I'd been detoured here because of overcrowding at other establishments. Needless to say it wasn't my first choice. This notwithstanding, I am so glad I stopped here. The dining area was clean and surprisingly empty for a Friday night. But the people were friendly, the place was clean, bright and in order. The smells were right. I ordered 2 bento boxes, chicken and beef, and the rib meal. The food was tasty. It was all cooked and seasoned great. The meat was grilled perfectly and charred just right. Every was quite good. I recommend this place if you happen to be on Hawaiian Gardens and want some teriyaki seasoned type foods.
