The reason I gave a 2 star in service when it should be a 0 or 1 is because the Hispanic guy that works there has always treated my friend and I respectfully. But on Saturday, March 10, 2024 at around 0258 we noticed that the last grp of ppl left so we said well, let's ask for a tray so we can take our leftovers home. We ask for it and when we receive them the young waitress turns off the lights on us making it hard for us to pour our food in the tray. My friend asked kindly if we can get the lights on so we can see where we pour our food and they did. A few seconds later they turn a sound alarm as if they trying to tell us to get out.Not only did we know we were no longer welcomed they, meaning 2 college student asian females, I'm assuming, did not have the decency to tell us their closed, even though we were getting ready to leave, but decided to give us the silent treatment. When we went to the door my friend said good night and the asian lady who was cleaning the kitchen said good morning. My friend laughed it out and said yes you are correct and they still gave us that hostility silence. When we were talking at the parking lot we noticed that they still had the light on. And realized that they didn't need the lights on because they needed it to clean so why did they turn off the lights on us when we were trying to pour our food in a container to take home.Ladies, you have a mouth, talk to us, don't be disrespectful. I have never given a negative rating before and this was definitely uncalled for.

I do agree with other reviewers with the broth and balance of vegetables. HOWEVER!! For the price that they are offering and how late they close!!??The food came out very quick and even when i ordered via phone they still checked how i was doing. Great Place ???

Two of my friends and I ate here on a brisk Saturday night and we were craving some warm authentic pho. The restaurant wasn't super busy yet at 8PM, so we were immediately seated (Although it got busier at 8pm when more groups and families came to eat here for dinner). I am fond of their ambiance with dimmed lights that matched their tall booth seats and their black bowls and plates. Their menu is only viewable by scanning a QR code printed on a paper with a sheet protector sleeve. When we were ready to order, we called one of the waiters and they kindly took our orders. I ordered their Veggie Pho (with Vegetarian broth). Our orders were ready within 10-15 minutes and I was truly impressed with the staff's promptness and food presentation. On the first sip, the vegetarian pho was truly flavor packed with a variety of crisp vegetable, diced tofu and natural umami flavor. I tried other pho places that serve vegetarian pho and so far, Pho May is my favorite place serving it uniquely in Hawaiian Gardens. I kinda wish the noodles were not cut short, but it's no biggie. The chopped green onion added more flavor and texture to the pho itself. According to my friend who ordered the Beef Combination Pho, it was flavorful, therapeutic and felt relieved after eating most of it. She couldn't finish her order, so she decided to make it to-go. Payment at the end was easy since the waiters have a card reader were you automatically choose your preferred tip without having to use a pen/pencil and calculate it yourself. We were finished within an hour and Pho May Hawaiian Gardens is now one of my favorite authentic Pho spots in the area.

i love how this place is open late. food always come quickly. this one guy who works at night with glasses is so nice and gives me unlimited thai tea. last time i was there i was annoyed. kept getting order wrong and no unlimited thai tea. so stupid. energy was off during day time, but i love going at night.

Order the wonton soup it smells good and tastes good. The chili oil makes the soup pop. Extra broth if you are full. Ask for help when ordering its a new system.Parking: You can sit by the window and observe your car while eating.

I must say this restaraint is just a must go if you even remotely like phỡ. Growing up I'd always want to go to this local phỡ place, but ever since we've moved we haven't gone in years. Ever since I've always ordered a chicken phỡ but none other has been as good as here, eating here was just pire nostalgia with the perfect blend of flavors, and not too salty for my taste. And also the place is just so calming to be in with warm isolating lighting. The servers all had positive auras and our waiter, who has a short beard and glasses was especially clear and patient with us. I will defintely be looking forward to my next stay here and thank for this establishment for being here.

This Pho spot definitely hits the spot, especially for a late night craving / vibe. Once you order via QR scan code, the food orders come in surprisingly quick. I love getting their pork spring rolls & wontons. Love coming here with my bff. Can't get over how delicious and feel-good spot this is!

Bomb! The food service is quick and on point. Digital menus and u can even pay digitally via app and the food items come as they are ready. Open late, lots of room and the seating is big and spacious very BBW friendly. Humble but mighty. Food is fresh and delicious. Parking isn't okay usually the mega gym next door makes it hard to get parking on a business week night but other than that it's a perfect local spot.

Food is good but service is ass. The online menu is not updated, the wait is tremendously long even when the restaurant is fucking empty. You go and pick up your order only to be told there is still a wait even when the order status says ready for pick up. It's better to eat in than to order take out. Such a shame, I used to love this place. it's as if they don't give a shit about their customers or value their time. Would rather drive to Little Saigon in Westminster and get REAL Vietnamese food than to get food from here again.

I have been going to Pho May for years now. This has been one of my top five places because the broth is clear and not oily. I always get the rare beef pho meal sometimes with eggrolls. The food comes out within five minutes of you ordering it and is always piping hot. I've never had to wait for a table and have been seated right away many times. I never have any issues with my order and the server is very prompt. If you're looking for an affordable Vietnamese restaurant that is very quick and very cheap you have to come here. The restaurant is lit and never too loud.

This place is good for a late night pho fix. It's not the best pho but it definitely will fulfill your craving. Food comes out fast and ambience is normal. Not loud, not quiet. I've tried their shrimp spring rolls here. 2/5 Def not fresh & shrimp is small & skinny. Service is good. Plenty of parking.
