B&R was my spot, until it wasn't!! The service was seriously lacking.... NOW the service has gotten so much better and the staff is pleasant over the phone and in person.. The food has always been good. My only concern would be to tell a person how long they really have to wait for food. I was told 20 minutes, and it ended up being 40 minutes.

I’ve been hesitating on writing a review because I thought maybe they’re just having a bad day but nope this is just clearly who they are. Being a black woman I enjoy supporting black owned businesses as well. This place is new to me because one I’m not from LA and two because I apparently wasn’t aware of the place. So I went and tried it fell in love so much I eat there at least three times a week. I’m debating on continuing to spend my money there because the person who takes the phone orders and rings you up when you arrive to pick up is incredibly rude. I believe her name is Mia or mya. She’s working right now as I type but when I called to place a phone order 20 min ago my call just kept ending, so I called back a few more times and once she answered I said are you all closed I keep getting hung up on. she responds no we aren’t closed but we have so many orders right now we aren’t taking any phone orders right now, so I said so you just hang up on the customer back to back without explaining that?? So I hung up on her. I’m tired of her rude ass and I love the food but if it wasn’t for the damn burger being so addicting I would’ve BEEN stopped coming here. It’s sad because I really like the food but dread seeing her or hearing her voice on the other end vs the other girl whom is rather nice and polite EVERY time i come in or call. She has short hair and brown eyes lighter tone don’t know her name but she’s awesome. You would think the other girl hated working there or something she always has an attitude always. Hope she lightens up some cause I be so discouraged when I wanna place an order but I just think of the food and I always end up going. Love the food and the other workers there but homegirl who always there, she’s just really edgy and mean? first time she slammed by bag of food on the counter when I came to pick up at 8:01 literally behind a another man getting his food, so it wasn’t like I was the only one she was waiting for to pick up their food. Smh I really wanted a burger today ol well. Hope this review helps, people it’s not the food the food is slamming it’s more so the customer service,?

I go eat here a lot and they never let me down then it don't matter how long you have to wait it's worth it the money is worth spending up here because they got good food it reminds me of Grandma's burgers when they was homemade and thick patties in the freeze is to die for in the house drink is to die for is going to set the tone you won't be disappointed by going there.

Wasted $15 and waited 30 minutes just to receive a terribly burnt burger and soggy fries this place used to be good not anymore I’m so mad I chose this over mo better with better quality food and WAY BETTER customer service .. I’ll even chose in and out over this never again ! Customer service is terrible the black girl with a scarf on her head just walked up to the register and looked at me like what do you want no hi no how can I help you nothing she act as if she knew me from somewhere (my first red flag that almost made me leave but luckily I was hungry now I regret not leaving) I said thanks when I received my food she just said mhm like if you don’t wanna be at work go home the ghetto attitude is very unnecessary and on top if that the workers do not look very sanitary!!!!

$20 for a double B&R burger with chili and cheese. Apparently I needed to specify TWO slices of cheese for a double cheese burger ……. Becuhs it only came with ONE.
They were stingy with the chili which was disappointing becuhs their chili is bomb.
Haven’t been here in years… my fries were fresh.. but for the amount of money you spend it’s no room for error.

Went here for lunch today based on a recommendation from The LA Try Guy, Alex Cottrell. I got the B&R Burger and Cajun Fries. The food is made fresh to order and it came out hot. The burger and fries were well seasoned and flavorful. The B&R Burger actually reminded me of a good ole homemade hamburger, just like the way my mom used to make for my brother, sister, and I. The single patty on the B&R burger was nice and thick and I personally and highly recommend it for the $7 price. Two patties would have been a bit too much for my stomach lol. I definitely will be going back.

I heard about this place on TikTok... first let me say... I'm not a burger person at all... but if I'm going for a burger... it's got too be as close to homemade as possible... these people are doing it right.. the favor is there... not that I'm complaining about the quality of the meat ... cause I'm pretty sure there using a 80% ground beef... for favors value and the seasoning is on point... if you're looking for a great burger... this is you're place... just know it's a little pricey... they charge for every add on like bacon, eggs, cheese, etc... but worth it
