We went to meet friends we hadn't seen in a while on Friday night. The music was so loud on the patio that sitting next to each other, we could not be heard. It wasn't just us, everyone around us was complaining of the same thing.We asked at the bar if they could turn the music down on the patio and the answer was "no". We finally left early because we were all hoarse from yelling at each other. Why would Common Space have a conversation area and then make communicating virtually impossible?We love the beer and the vibe here and have had great times in the past. It was a very disappointing night. Hopefully this was a fluke and volume on the patio will be evaluated and addressed.There are so many local choices of brewery's that have a comfortable environment - we'd be sorry to remove Common Space from our list of favorite breweries.

I found out about Common Space Brewery through a spooky market they were hosting and though I'm not much of a beer drinker I do love some spook...needless to say I headed to Commom Space. Right off the bat I love they have their own parking lot...major points for that. I also love the whole indoor/outdoor vibe of the brewery. Picnic tables outside and high tops inside. No worries about finding a place to plop here. Now the event I went to also had vegan food vendors...trucks right in their parking lot so I was able to grab some yummy vegan grub before I hit the spooky vendors. But...before I hit the vendors I had to grab myself some beer right? So as a non beer drinker I was looking for something maybe sweet and it just so happened they had this Sunrise drink that was beer, grenadine and I forget what else....maybe pineapple. I know sounds kind of sketch but baby...it tasted so flipping good! Almost like a Mai Tai. As I was walking away with my drink several people stopped to ask what I had ordered and then I spotted them walking around the event with the drink. Ayyyy...I started a trend. Anyways I hit the vendors, made some purchases and then grabbed a table, chilled and then eventually went up for another one of those Sunrise drinks cuz why not right?All in all it was a fun time in a cool space. I had such a great time I've gone back for a few other events.Now Common Space is about 30 or 40 minutes from me but definitely worth the trek. Highly recommend.

Went here during an Oktoberfest celebration and was a great space. Even though it was crowded was still plenty of room and was able to find parking in their lot. Fast service and good selection of beers. Definitely want to go back when it’s a little more casual but was very excited to have the first experience be during Oktoberfest.

Great space for my event! Kennedy helped organize and execute my party and it really could not have gone any better. All the guests had a great time!

Been coming to common space since it opened, I live about 3 minutes away and I have been to ALL kinds of breweries and this place falls into my top 3 of favorite places. Huge parking location though it does get harder to find parking during special events. Food trucks provided on the daily and a wide selection of beers and some seltzers. Sonrisa Mexican lager is my favorite. Price range in beers is $7 - $10 depending the type you get. Great for family and to bring your puppy children.

Lots of IPAs. But the score for me is that they had a really good nitro stout. That's my jam. I'll be back for that and the good vibes. All the servers who helped me were chill. Good scene. Food trucks and tons of folks hanging out. A few TV screens for sports, including one projection jumbo screen. The manager put on the UCLA football game for me and they won!Lots of tables. Benches galore and some tall boys - an inside + outside vibe all the way. Very nice spot to drink & chill on a sunny day. There was a whole vegan plant love event when I rolled through.

Great brewery that offers a ton of outdoor seating, indoor area that also hosts a market of small plant sellers, solid music, and good beer. Also there's always a bunch of food stands though limited to vegan food. Beer is solid, vibes immaculate. also theres a good amount of free parking. service is chill.

If it weren't for the Yelp Elite perk (thanks to the ever so amazing LAWest Yelp Elite crew) I most likely wouldn't have discovered THIS place. (A 2-in-1, you may call it!) The perk came with a couple of fish tacos, so what better to pair that with than their Sonrisa (just to keep up with the theme.) I had a few sips of it as I waited for my grub. I liked it: there was a crisp, refreshing and smooth end taste to it. Once I had it with the tacos, even better. I love the open air concept. It felt like I was having a bit of downtime in someone's backyard. Relaxing, for sure. DRINK: 5. Really liked it! SERVICE: 3. Not a lot of interaction. Friendly staff, though. VALUE: 3. PARKING: Plenty when I arrived in the mid-afternoon. Kinda got busy later, but a few spots opened up every few minutes or so. OVERALL: 3.75. Good first run. Glad to know it's here in case I need to make a stop should there be the need for a quick drank before heading home. They're on my radar now!
