The owner, ***************************, aka Da Cajun Seafood Shack, aka Chef G, agreed to cater our school fundraising event. He cashed our deposit and never provided the catered meals. Claimed he was in an accident the night of the event and could not deliver food. After a month of contacting him, he still has not refunded our school the money he took.

This place is a joke. Please do not waste your time seriously. The phone number on the website it an IPhone number first of all. I called and instantly I was told “unfortunately we don’t have any gumbo or jambalaya but I can text you the other location’s number and you can call them” so like weird having a business text you but ok lol. I called the number that was sent to me and they swear they couldn’t hear me so I hung up and dialed again, I told them I wanted to get my food delivered since the website advertises free delivery. What they don’t tell you is there is a $50 minimum within a 5 mile radius. The lady on the phone said “okay what would you like to order?” I told her and she instantly stopped me and said “we don’t have any gumbo or jambalaya” what a joke right? Lol. So I asked her what are they selling since they don’t have those two items. The lady proceeds to say they have the seafood boil available and I instantly laughed because correct me if I’m wrong. Isn’t it just Shrimp, sausage, sometimes chicken and rice in both of those dishes? So How do you have the the boil but not those two dishes. Moral of the story don’t waste your time.

Great place for fried fish. Love the flavors, I used the lemon on my Red Snapper and it opened up a refreshing combination of spicy and tart that forced me to continue eating. Red Beans and Rice and Cabbage were my two sides and they brought the heat. The food is well seasoned and isn't overly salty like you find with most fish fry coatings nor is it oily. Good portions make this spot perfect for lunch, dinner, or for snacking. I ordered online just before closing and took it to go. There is out door seating options underneath an awning that would be excellent on a sunny day. The owner is pleasant and ready to take your order.

Wheelchair accessibility: Order at the window off the sidewalk, no stairs or doors

This place is horrible and the cook is horrible. They should not be moving to a new location, they should be closing down. I spent $22.05 on some vinegary cabbage, cold straight out of the refrigerator red beans and rice, and red snapper warmed up in a microwave. You can tell from the texture and my food that it was done in 5 mins. Who sells fish with no bread? She wasn’t able to give me a receipt because her point of sells machine was broke. I was so upset I didn’t even want to turn around. She actually took the red beans and rice out of the refrigerator and served it to me! Never again. If she owns the place, she should close it down and if she is employed they should fire her. Waste of money and time. It’s much more better places out there than this.

A few thingsOne they scored a B for the health gradeTwo placed an order for pick up and the lady confirmed the internet had been down for 2 days. Did not ask me what the order was nor how could they accommodate .. which sucks considering the business was still open. If the internet is down I’m sure you can call Postmates etc to let them know. .Three - chicken gumbo labeled $15 and then totals out to almost $40 once you select the more cost effective option. A waste of my time.

The only seafood boil I go to now. Banging flavors and good people who know what they're doing.I also want to give a shout out to the collard greens, the seafood gumbo, and specialty sausages they make from scratch with no fillers. Legit Cajun sausages!

First time visiting here. I got seafood gumbo, and cabbage with smoked turkey. I'm very picky about food. This was a pleasant surprise of extreme FLAVOR. I'm in love with that Cabbage and smoked turkey. Very authentic southern seasoning. It's a small place. There is no dining area, only pick up. They take debit cards.?

The food and customer service is 100% perfect. I had a large Gumbo and shrimp and fish meal. I took 1 bite of the beans and rice in my meal ( before i pulled out of the parking lot) and went back to get a separate order. Their Greeens are perfectly cooked! I will be returning to this place, to bad i didn't find them sooner

Ordered a seafood boil with JUMBO shrimp and paid literally $70 for it. This is the “JUMBO” shrimp it talks of, that costs like $8 more than the regular shrimp. Lmaoo, what a joke. It tasted fine but I’ve definitely had better for a fraction of the cost, and with much bigger shrimp. Wouldn’t order again.

This place is AWESOME!!! I mean the food was wonderful... that sweet tea was real good and sweet, not too over the top but just the right amount of sweetness. The seafood shrimp boil was life!!! And I got the stewed chicken, rice gravey, yams, and cabbage... This chicken meal was GREAT!! Ms.Trina/Auntie Trina was just the best... the chicken gumbo was absolutely wonderful... I highly recommend checking out this spot... my wife and I were so glad we went.. We're actually going back for round two today before we head out of town...

Edited review: I ordered the 2 piece fish with shrimp. The food tasted good put the portion was definitely not what I expected. If you are hungry you are going to need 3xs what they serve. 1 meal will not be enough. I didn’t care for the red beans and rice. The pictures were definitely enhanced to appear bigger.
