Husband and I had a boba craving on our way back to the airport from vacation and this was one of the closest to our rental car drop off...thank goodness it was because the drinks were SO GOOD. Jasmine milk tea was so fragrant and the kumquat one was very tangy and refreshing. Highlight was the pearls, they were so soft and chewy and honestly some of the best we've ever had (and we've drank a loooot of bubble tea in our lifetime). We do not say this lightly about boba but these two drinks were amazing. Would love to visit again in the future!

I’ve been coming here over 1 year almost every week for the Brown Sugar Milk Tea, you guys had the best one. Even better than the other Dinh Tea franchises, but the last 3 times I came here the milk tea is just not the same anymore. You guys changed the formula or the ingredients. The first time I noticed and asked them to make me a new one and the taste was still the same. That’s very disappointing. The milk tea is not bad but it’s not as good as it used to be

I usually love this place. Great drinks and that staff is always nice. BUT TODAY things changed. In the kitchen I saw this young person with their hair al over their face, not pulled back like the other. Looked like they were still wearing their pajamas and just got out of bed. It was busy when I came in so I kept wondering if someone ended up getting hair in their drink instead of boba. It was some kind with light brown to ashy blonde hair, purple nails, and a red bracelet. They need to be stricter about having their hair pulled back, especially those preparing the drinks

Pretty good drinks. Small waiting area so it could get crowded, but it wasn't too bad. Friendly and nice cashiers.

This is my absolute favorite boba tea place in the whole world, and I’ve been to a lot of them. I love being able to specify how much sweetness and ice, and the selection is second to none. Another favorite is the super deluxe taro with the burnt sugar crusted cream on top. Rookie mistake is not to shake it, esp with the ones that are multilayered. Incredibly delicious snack, and it makes our efforts at the neighboring Costco so much better to know this is where we will chill out afterwards. The only thing that might make it better is having more of a nice place to sit when lines are long. Love it and will keep coming back no matter how popular it gets. We got our free drink today as part of their app promo thing, and they were kind enough to mention that we could upgrade the free drink size.

Dietary restrictions: For those of you who need alternative milk options, they actually do offer that here too.

Ding Tea is a great chain to pick up your boba. I have personal favorites being the Thai Tea and the Sea Foam Coffee. I hate it when the coffee is out or the equipment is down but it has let me figure out my back ups go to drinks. The staff is friendly and efficient in getting drinks out. I use the phone number check in to constantly build up points to get free drinks. I am going to stay a constant customer of the Ding Tea on Rosecrans.

I've been to many Ding teas, the one in Torrance (Now they're out of the franchise), Lomita, Carson, Irvine, and this one, Hawthorne. But every time I've been to the ding tea at Hawthorne their boba is always consistent, coated in a thin layer of honey and sugar, a firm chew that doesn't fall apart in your mouth. In the past (2023) Lomita also had the same consistency but recently I haven't had the same experience. It was raining on this day and I ran down El Segundo for this boba. There were many newly released Ube drinks but I setteled with the Ube Milk, being presented like a sunset in a dream, it had a beautiful purple, the drink was milky, nutty, and a little vanilla, paired with ding tea's golden boba, I had an enjoyable time. Whenever I want Ding Tea's best boba, I will come to this location in Hawthorne!

Parking: The Ding Tea is located in a plaza, there is plenty of parking outside of it. I was there on a weekend during Lunch Time.

Ding Tea is a great Boba spot in the South Bay! They offer lots of options and pump out orders pretty quickly. Don't be intimidated by the large crowds in the store. You won't wait long!

Never order taro milk tea. It’s the worst taro milk tea ever! It's powder and water and has almost no taro flavor. I only have two sips and throw that into garbage can.The taro milk tea should be brewed taro with milk.Don’t say it’s Taiwanese traditional tea shop if it’s not.
