The pastries are delicious, and their breakfast/brunch was great. There's a ton of outdoor seating. They also sell bread and homemade jams in interesting flavors that I'm excited to try.

I've bought at this bakeshop some pasties several times, I've always been treated with respect, and professional staff, most of the bread is the healthiest. The bread and cookies I order have always been good, well cooked, and warm, not cold, like some other bakeshop places I've gone to, and the staff are friendly and courteous. I will continue to buy bread here!

Love this bake shop because their cake is so delicious. You will surely love their chocolate moisture cake, which is everyone's favorite. They have a corner wherein you could create and decorate your cake. I was so happy with the service. Highly recommended!

Best sourdough bread ever...I like mine toasted and slather with KerryGold butter?... the texture of the bread when toasted doesn't get hard that it'll cut your gums and palate, unlike other sourdough breads I've tried you have to be very careful with every bite... this is just perfect crunchiness softness overload??

Hoping to find some sourdough before heading to lax. Chuck (the owner) was extremely helpful. Sent us off with some baguettes & a sourdough. Super appreciative & tasty bread to boot. Thanks Chuck!

One of the several reasons we go to Dal Rae in Pico Rivera beside the always great food, service & ambiance is the Basque bread from Etxeu Bakery. Keep it up - it's great & the BEST.

Wholesale bakery so no retail location here. However they make wonderful bread so I encourage you to seek out restaurants offering their wonderful Sourdough.

ETXEA (et-chea) Best sourdough period. Can always judge the better restaurants in town -- Water Grill, Michaels etc -- because Etxea bread sets the tone and the table for a best in class meal. The Garacochea Family became famous under the Pioneer French Bread banner (founded in Venice CA back in '08 --1908 that is!) -- that bakery was as old as Venice itself. The Etxea sourdough starter dates back to the Old Country -- Les Aldudes (tiny village on the French side of the Pyrenees). Pioneer on Rose would have been 100 years old this year -- so that's a full CENTURY of these Basque bakers gettin' it right! Best bread in the New World.
