Best fish, hush puppies Mac and cheese, onion rings, greens, shrimp I have ever eaten! Presentation of food was excellent, looked professional and perfectly cooked and seasoned and very clean restaurant/market!

I don’t know why but the 2 times I’ve ordered from here I got so sick. The people are nice and it’s close to my house. But for some reason I got extremely sick to my stomach after eating my food. Which is weird because when I order food from Fish Bone in two different locations. I was fine

I ordered red snapper and shrimp combo. Fish was just ok. Small and not too good flavor profile. Shrimp were small but tasted a little better. Red beans and rice was a 4/10 no meat and no peppers , low flavor profile. Mac n cheese was 2/10 didn’t seem to be real cheese more of a packet cheese sauce. Not a great flavor at all. Onion rings were dry, tartar sauce is 75 cents extra and not that good.

The fish portions were very small unlike other fish & seafood Markets in the Hawthorne area. I was very disappointed because I wanted fish @ the time.

I had got the banana pudding with my order. And it was really nasty had old bananas inside and just tasted like it’s been there for a minute. For $6 the amount giving and the taste was not worth it.

Quiet little place but this has some amazing food, got a order of catfish and gumbo. So delicious! And the employees are so nice. They gave us a sample of their new in house seafood salad. Got a gumbo and some catfish with a side of Mac and cheese, lemme tell you they got some amazing flavor. Definitely gotta come back here when I come back to LA
