La Revolucion Restaurant Reviews
Killer mole and the best corn tortilla I have ever had. They are home made and they are awesome. I no longer live in LA but whenever I dream of corn tortillas I dream of this place.
Las Hamacas is an excellent little mexican/ central american style food joint. The pricing is on the higher side for Mexican food but the quality is very good. I order the the flat bread and tortas there religiously, when i am craving good Mexican food. Service is decent, the only negatives are the menu which is hard to decipher for non spanish speakers and the poor parking because it shares the location with a popular Pho restaurant
The food was real good, and, although I'm no expert, it tasted very authentic. The service was very good and the co-owner who waited on me offered to explain the menu in English - that's a first! The only downside is that they have a Mexican Revolution theme - they have pictures of Pancho Villa and mexican flags everywhere - the decor was busy for my taste but I will definitely go back there for lunch again.
