This is one of the best Mariscos spots that I have been to. I have been looking for a good wet burrito de Camaron. And they delivered that! It was a green salsa wet burrito. I would highly recommend it. My girlfriend got a large shrimp cocktail, and I will say they do not hold back on the shrimp. It's really really good. Will definitely come back for another wet burrito. This time, maybe a Carne Asada. Also great place that only has the TV on and not the karaoke and mariachi...
Ate here for lunch today and the food was first class! Had 3 fried fish tacos, which was one too many-large piece of deliciously battered fish covered with finely chopped lettuce and pico de gallo. Sauce and salsa was great and went well with it all, and guac was brought out to us, which I think came with lunch. Friendly staff and the restaurant was nice and tidy. Will be back!
Mariscos Guillen is my go-to spot every time I’m back in LA! I’ve been coming here since before I moved away a few years ago, and without fail, I always have to stop by for their filete a la diabla—it’s that good. This place is a true hidden gem, a cozy hole-in-the-wall with an authentic mariscos vibe that hits you the moment you walk in. You can smell the fresh seafood being cooked in the back—it’s the real deal.
