Tried this place for the first time last week. Their Conchas tasted funny. Within an hour or two I got real sick. I was sick for a week. Probably contaminated and got food poisoning. Never again will I go here.
The guatemalan tamales are not good at all. The masa wasn't cooked all the way and too much achiote.
And they don't even know what a pirujo is. How you going to sell guatemala tamales and not know what a pirujo is.

Omg. So good. I'll be taking at least a dozen of various goodies home.
Bread gets all hard rock hard the very next day! Tamales are not good . Bad costumer service , treats their employees bad I don’t know how they haven’t got reported for employment harassment . Won’t recommend this bakery.
Best bread in town. We moved to Bako and coming down to LA we always make our way to this spot to take bread back home. If your not from town you can't leave without taking some of their bread all of the bread is amazing!
Unfortunately, these tamales were disappointing. The texture was very dry, making them difficult to enjoy, and the flavor was off, with a noticeable sour taste that suggested they were no longer fresh. It ended up getting us sick.

Well, I just went shopping but I'm not coming back because of the cashier. He treated me badly and raised his voice. And I don't allow that.

This place is great! It's hard to find good Central American bakeries but praise and glory to God for this one! They have different Guatemalan and Salvadorian tamales. My favorite are the Guatemalan pork tamales. Not everyone makes them right but they're delicious at this bakery. I also had their corn atole which is a hot drink and it wasn't too sweet (something most places get wrong!). Their assortment of bread (pan dulce) is AMAZING!!! It's always fresh and so yummy. I haven't had anything that isn't tasty, this bakery is awesome!
