Went here after getting hungry and decided to search around on Google maps for any new spots to try and came across this spot
It's an almost blink and you'll miss it kinda place by a small group of businesses
Went in and was immediately greeted by what I assume was an elderly woman and a younger lady, maybe family but I don't wanna assume too much 😅
They were very friendly and patient with me since it was my first time trying Filipino food. Even some recommendations which are always appreciated
The 2 chicken recipes I got for my 2 item combo were both flavorful and well seasoned but not too much, and decently juicy and not too chewy
I think what got me the most was the rice itself. Very soft, and tender if that makes sense, and the juices from the chicken seeped into the rice which made for a delicious part of the meal
Overall would defo try again, just wish I could've went earlier cause they were about to close in an hour when I visited
So Maybe it might be even better than when I had it

These kinds of places make me love Mom and Pop more than the bourgeois restaurants with the fancy menus you find in the hipster neighborhoods. It’s comfort food at its finest. I would recommend this place for Filipino food lovers , but also to people wanting to try an authentic Filipino place for lunch maybe their first time because this place serves a broad community, and is welcoming to everyone! So it is a great open invite to enjoy Pinoy culture! The warmth and welcoming of the family that owns the restaurant keeps me coming back, And the food is great! We eat at a lot of Filipino places and they have some of my favorite versions of the popular dishes! You can’t go wrong with anything there. My only advice is get there early, they sell out quickly, and since they only make fresh food, when they run out, that’s it. They do have a la carte menu, but you’ll have a much broader menu if you get there on the early afternoon. My wife and I go regularly, as much as our schedules will allow us.

I came down from Seattle to visit my daughter in LA and hungry for pilipino food and found this place which reminded me of visiting my Mom or auntie cooking. The family that runs the restaurant was very friendly and the food was delicious especially the Kare Kare and Longanisa and Pansit and Lechon. I will return again next time I am in town thank Salamat Po, William

The food here was great! Their calamari and lumpia have a nice crunch that was flavorful. Their halo halo was also nice and didn’t leave any ingredients out. I loved the staff, we had a nice conversation and was very playful with my little brother. The restaurant also had cute and funny quotes that made the place even better. A great place I would 100% visit again.

They run out of pancit very early (not cause it is so good, it's because they cook very little amount),and the servings are very small. Food is cold, place is outdated. First and last time. Also expensive.
