Polanco Modern Mexican Steakhouse

Delicious flavors and new interpretations of Mexican cuisine. I was very impressed and found the overall experience delightful. I wish I lived nearby so I could visit more often!

Carla the manager is a disaster. We ordered a tomahawk and ahi appetizer at 8:30. At 9 the restaurant turned on the lights full blast and turned off the music Her excuse. Corporate. And my favorite line - “nobody is here” we are there and 6 others. Carla came by to say a couple couldn't order a bottle of wine unless they are staying at the hotel. Literally making it a hard to purchase a bottle of wine while they eat dinner past 8:30. You serious?! Carla said we couldn't order desert unless we can eat by 9:30. At 9 pm we received 40 oz tomahawk and sides. Impossible Carla is a disaster and wanted to get home. She couldn't manage a Dennys. The bartender Aaron is amazing. Great service.

The service was not good. Wrong meal was served and neither was hot. The waiter Alex was not attentive at all. The restaurant didn't offer any consideration for serving me the wrong food. I won't be patronizing this establishment again.

Order was never put in. Got our order an hour and ten minutes late. Order was put in incorrectly and didn't get everything we asked for. Manager gave 20 dollar discount and her only excuse was well we're slammed.

Noise level was pretty loud and unfortunately the music choice was not curated well for the restaurant and consisted of poor house remixes. The drinks were on the sweet side. On the other hand, the service and food were excellent. The servers were very attentive and provided great recommendations.The ribeye chicharrones and puerco ibérico hit. Would eat here again but this place would be a 5 star if the ambience improved

Very elegant restaurant with old European charm and design and with amazing food and drinks! Our server today (sorry I don't remember her name) was a true gem and she was as attentive and kind as it can be. This was my second time at this restaurant and will definitely be there again! Thank you.

Polanco Steakhouse exceeded all my expectations! The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a memorable night out. The food was absolutely amazing—every bite was packed with incredible flavor. Compliments to the chef, who truly brought my taste buds back to life with such creative and perfectly executed dishes. This is a place that knows how to do steak right. I can't wait to return!

Like most steakhouses these days, Polanco was over priced and they provide too much food. While the food was very good, be prepared for a $400+ tab with tax and a built in 20% tip, and that's with a modest priced bottle of wine in the $60-90 range. Staff was friendly and the restaurant was well appointed but I do feel like someone had their hand in my pocket. I think I will stick to cooking steaks at home.

I was there tonight to celebrate my birthday with my husband. It was really, really good, except at the end…. We’d put in our reservations, that it was my birthday and the host even greeted us, saying happy birthday to me when we checked in. But he (host) and our server didn’t communicate. So, right at the end as we were standing to leave, our server (Ethan) did a happy birthday special and song at another table. It made me feel some kind of way. It wasn’t a biggie until it made me and my husband feel the way I felt and we spent just shy of $300 bucks🥹. That’s a very delicate mistake the can end up being a big mess with the wrong people…just saying 😉

Horrible experience. Music was very loud in dinning room, so we asked to move to patio. No heat out there and very little lighting. Sever spoke limited English. He didn't know what sweetener was! We ordered and received food. Some of it was not edible. Complained to person serving us. He claimed the lobster was actually mushroom. Menu indicated lobster and veggies to go along with sea bass.there were no veggies and and the lobsters or mushroom tasted like rubber. Went to manager after we received bill.she said that we Complained to the wrong person. She looked at Menu and realized we should have received veggies and lobster. But insisted that if we had Complained to the right person , problem could have been resolved. After a short argument we left. Manager was totally rude and the food was horrible and overpriced. Recommend you stay away from this place.

Wow wow wow. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could. The service was absolutely amazing. Victor was very personable. The rest of the staff was so attentive as well. We never needed anything. The food was SO INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS . The wine selection was great. And the atmosphere was cute and chic and lively and beautiful.
