I was given a chicken tender inside of my chicken sandwich

One of the worst. I placed an order on the app. When the order arrived I was missing 2 drinks, and all fries were cold, and had to be tossed. A few of the chicken tenders weren’t cooked, and biscuits were missing from the combos.

This was honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve had at Popeyes. The chicken I was served was undercooked/raw, which is completely unacceptable and a serious health risk. There’s no excuse for serving unsafe food.

What made it worse was how it was handled. After bringing it to the manager’s attention, I was told I could only get a partial refund because we had already started eating. That makes no sense, customers should be able to trust that their food is properly cooked, not have to inspect it before every bite.

It wasn’t until I had to argue the point that I was finally given a full refund. That should have been the immediate response, not something I had to push for.

Serving raw chicken is bad enough, but trying to downplay it and avoid taking full responsibility made the situation even worse. This location seriously needs to do better when it comes to both food safety and customer service.

I used to come here all the time! I remember it being super speedy and organized. I like to mobile order a lot—i was able to walk over to the side and grab my order, but these guys were so understaffed tonight that there were people waiting everywhere, and my food wasn’t ready after waiting in my car for about 10 minutes. Only 3 people for dinner hours and closing down the restaurant must be so harsh on the employees; I felt so bad they didn’t seem to have adequate support. Took a while to get fried pickles, mashed potatoes & Mac. I didn’t even order chicken and it took another 10-15 minutes of waiting inside for my mobile order. I don’t fault the staff on duty in situations like that.

The problem with this place is is you can NEVER ORDER Uber Eats, door dash or any delivery service because they do not SEAL TGE BAG. I went outside and the delivery driver was tampering with my food I busted him. They do not seal the food that is DANGEROUSLY INSANE. The was a smoker he had a filthy car and I paid 29.65 the driver gave me the bag with the receipt that said 15.25 Uber eat is a rip off. Here is proof

I got super sick after eating here and I know it was the food from here because that was the only thing I ate for the day.

Generally it's hard to give a fast food chain restaurant more than 3 stars, the food is the same, the staff usually does not want to be there and just muddles through the day and the line of customers.

However, this Popeyes location is an exception to the rule. Staff is always friendly and attentive, they have an excellent attitude and make you feel like they appreciate your business, the food is always hot and fresh. Prices are very reasonable, the restaurant is very clean.

Just an overall excellent dining experience.

Highly recommended if you are in the area and feel like some delicious chicken and sides
