The people where very kind and I ate here once before and it was OK not great…. But OK. So I tried again and it was horrible I mean everything was horrible. I got soulfood oxtails rice gravy yams none of it was good. Got my neighbor fish. They said fish tasted old and we both trashed our food $50 down drain. Not trying no more 🤮🤢

I called in my order and ya'll told me 20 minutes. I show up and you asked if I spoke with so I knew the order was going to be late, but then you said you got it. Problem is I ordered smothered fried chicken and you gave me old dry baked chicken. I wondered why there was so much gravy. If you forget to make the order, admit it and make it right. I worked to hard only to be disappointed at the dinner table. Sides were bomb tho.
Owner is always kind. Food is fresh always. Breaded fish has the right batter amount. Size of dishes are fairly to price, The place has a big variety of plates. I always order fried fish next time I'll be more adventurous. If you come before 2 pm you pay a dollar less. You must wait for your food they made it by ordar.

Don't let the location fool you. I like the collards and yams. The cornbread is very good. I appreciate having a local eatery for Soul food. You can pick your fish to buy and they fry. That lemonade with ice tea is tasty. Very limited space for dining in but it is possible.
