On January 17th I ordered two combo bowls, one with Tokyo chicken and teriyaki chicken the other with Tokyo chicken and beef. When I got home and opened my order it was a double teriyaki chicken plate and the other plate was teriyaki chicken with no sauce on it. When I called and spoke with manager Michael, he investigated and admitted that I was given wrong order. I requested a refund; I had no time to return and needed to leave for work shortly. He refused to refund. I advised him I would do a chargeback on card. His response was basically he didn't care and he hung up on me. Very rude and unacceptable. I did do a chargeback and that process is pending. I will also notify their corporate office about this location and manager.

Had not visited a Yoshinoya restaurant since 1996 when I worked near USC and that was one of the few joints open late during morning watch / graveyard shift. Last week my wife wanted to try their ramen and fire chicken after seeing an advertisement on her phone. Service at the Hawthorne location was excellent; however, now I remember why I had not returned in 28 years. Ramen was nothing like shown in the advertisement, they looked sad and not appetizing. Will definitely not order that dish if I return in 28 years from now. I also didn't care for the taste of the chicken, but the staff was pleasant and friendly.

I'm not gonna lie but they are pretty fast here. From all the yoshinoya's I've been to this one has been one of the fastest one, but what I don't appreciate is the managers attitude at all ( African American ) idk if she don't like Hispanics or she don't like her job ..

I have ordered food a couple of times here using Uber. Every time I order, something is always missing. It's frustrating when you have missing items and won't get refunded back those missing items. On top of that, no utensils, napkins, and sauces were provided. This is the last time I ordering here.

I think she's probably the manager because I always see her there but she needs to calm down. I don't like writing bad reviews so if I'm writing this, that tells you something. I worked in restaurants so I know how it is dealing with rude customers and etc,. But she was literally being rude to customers that didn't do anything. She was passive aggressive and clearly had no patience. She could find another job if she's so miserable and is lashing out to people she's annoyed with. Other than that, I've had no issues. Yeah wait time is long but there's a high turn over rate in this location from what I noticed. She has a tight pony tail.

I walked to the doors at 9:05 because dine in opens at 9. They were locked. I look in the windows and see a lady look at me but continue to do what she was doing. Okay no problem. I work in retail/customer service so I understand things happen and can run behind schedule. I saw her getting ready to open the doors so I stood directly in front of them. She unlocked them and walked away with an attitude as if I was inconveniencing her. She did not open the door for me, no acknowledgment, no good morning/hello, nothing. If she’s the manager, I feel bad for the employees because she has piss poor customer service.

There was a new person at the register and my drink was not full cup, I told her I pay for full cup not half way, them I ask for the manager, her name is Monica was very rude and says that is what you getting and that is it, 2 Combo Xl Bowl Teriyaki Chicken

My last trip to Yoshinoya wasn't the experience I remember in terms of the food. Seems like the meat is really cut in half into shreds. Wasn't satisfied with a large bowl on my own.Other than that, the staff members were polite and hard working. Like many places, they seem to be understaffed.So you might have to wait long as the staff have to carry so many tasks at one time. Just one at the register and one cook.Be patient or go somewhere else if youre on a tight schedule.Still not a deal breaker, will come back again soon.

The food here is delicious I come here often and the service is always good , but this time it was different. As I opened my bowl and was a couple bites in I noticed a hair. Not only was it a hair but it was a long one. Do better!!!
