Agave | Mexican Restaurant & Tequila Bar

Very delicious authentic Mexican food. What a great restaurant in a shopping mall. The atmosphere inside is great. Lots to look at and enjoy. The evening started with the best crunchy tortilla chips and two different and delicious salsas. There were 5 of us dining and we all had great meals. The nachos were filled with lots of meat and toppings, burritos were large and unique tasting, the torta was filled with lots of meat and other fillings, the mole sauce was delicious. We enjoyed our meals and had enough left over for lunch the next day. The Agave margarita was a first and it was very nice! The watermelon fresca was very refreshing. We will be back here in the future. The staff was very friendly. Already gave friends a recommendation to eat here.

Our server Ximena was excellent and food was incredible. The Agave salad with chicken was delicious as was the sautéed garlic shrimp plate. Great Mezcal and Margaritas!

This little restaurant is slightly away from the Healdsburg Plaza but it is worth the 5 min walk. The service was exceptional, the ambiance charming, presentation was top notch and the food was delightful and fresh. No wait and no rushing to turn a table. Check out this hidden gem!

Our second time dining here and it was just a delicious as we remember. I was unfamiliar with some of the items but after reading the ingredients and menu descriptions, I knew anything I ordered was going to be well thought out and prepared.

Had a wonderful experience at Agave where Hector gave us the best service! We ordered the fresh in house made guacamole, it was fantastic! Truly a must order. The burritos we ordered were came out so hot and delicious. Thank you Hector! See you again soon

Our waiter was excellent. (June 8th, inside). Everyone at our table enjoyed the food--enmoladas, carnitas, tacos, and yummy mole. Great selection of tequilas & mezcals that we'll have to come back to try.

Two words for this place - DELISH AND DIVINE! Wow! Came here on my first night in Healdsburg and ordered the nachos with steak and chicken, guac, camarones a la diabla, and the steak/chicken fajitas and everything was PHENOMENAL! Not to mention the amazing service from Hector and the team. Incredible, and dare I say… the best Mexican food we’ve had since moving to SF 6 months ago! Can’t wait to come back!

I had the burrito Al pastor, amazing! But Never had burrito Al pastor with mushrooms, potatoes and queso fresco! Going back again tomorrow!

Before I head back to Southern California tomorrow night. Northern California is beautiful!

Great food, attentive staff, fun atmosphere

While in an unassuming strip mall, Agave was a hidden gem in Healdsburg. This was our first visit there at lunch for drinks and some small bites on a Saturday. We sat at the bar and struck up a conversation with the owner and bartender. We learned a lot about their family's Oaxacan heritage, cuisine, tequilas, mezcal, and single malt whiskeys. We were impressed with the quality -- margaritas, guacamole, chips, and Enmoladas, reasonable portions, and their hospitality. We also bought some of their mole sauce available for purchase. We liked that there was plenty of parking unlike places closer to the Plaza. We will certainly return to Agave when we're in Healdsburg!

We arrived just before happy hour ended and sat at the bar. I did have a reservation for a table but we ended up sitting at the bar and enjoyed various conversations, food and delicious drinks at the bar. We would highly recommend Agave for their food and drink. The staff were also very attentive.

We ate here for dinner last night. The staff, hostess's, server, and bartender were all very welcoming, courteous, and attentive. We had guac, Cadillac margaritas, and a fajita salad. All items were very good.

What a surprise! A hidden gem in Healdsburg. Atmosphere, service and food was awesome. Very friendly! We will be back.
