Love their wines. We've been going to the winery over 20 yrs. They're very laid back, always generous and helpful.

Amazing wines and a fabulous experience. Went with a group of four and no one had a wine they didn't like. Everyone enjoyed each variety and had a hard time identifying the best of the best. They were all delicious. We also loved the service provided by Bridget. We all enjoyed our time with her because she understands both wine and hospitality. Bridget was our favorite person on our weekend wine trail.

Was there last September and had a wonderful experience. I opened the Mourvedre this afternoon and it was like a breath a fresh air.The flavors and nose of this wine are absolutely amazing. With hints of sweetness and low tannins it is perfect on a cool spring dayHere's hoping I am able to visit again soon to enjoy the warmth of the wine and the winery. So glad I joined the club.

Two enthusiastic thumbs up! Rick, Bridget and Jim take pride in their wines and their hospitality. Rightfully so. Their wines rival or exceed anything from Napa and their warm authentic hospitality make Amphora a must-visit.

Amphora was the first winery we visited in our week-long Sonoma wine exploration. So far (after three days) it is still the best. Each wine we tasted was so unique and delicious. The vermentino we tried is so far the best Sonoma white we have tasted. We had a hard time deciding which wines to purchase, This is a small winery without a lot of kerfuffle--great for us! This was a beautiful, relaxing, and low-key tasting experience with the best wines anywhere.

Rick Hutchinson the owner was extremely rude and condescending. The worst wine tasting experience in the past 10 years that I have been visiting Sonoma dry creek area. He threw $20 dollars in our faces and called us cheap. When I made the reservation the day before I was told she (karen) needed my credit card to HOLD the reservation. They charged my card for $60. Then when we only had one tasting, Rick refused to reimburse our remaining $40 as well as give us the two tastings he owed us. When we realized they had charged the money the day before, and didn't tell me they were going to do that and didn't want to reimburse me, we wanted what he still owed us - 2 tasting, he refused and threw $20 at us and called us cheap. He still owes us a tasting and he's calling us cheap.

Over the top personal service (often by owner & winemaker Rick) and delicious wine. Unusual wines plus the standards. Invest in some futures here. Join the club! Think outside the bottle, and become part of the family!Super fun. Super nice.If you want average, the “usual” & boring... go somewhere else.

Rick knows how to work with old world grapes on western soil. Low alcohol, grapes shine like they should. Fruit is not over baring. Recommend to old world wine drinker and all that enjoy great wine.
