Aperture is an outstanding experience in a gorgeous setting with exceptional wine. If you're in the area, this is a winery well worth visiting. Grant was an excellent host, very knowledgeable, and attentive to outstanding customer service, ensuring our visit was time well spent. I can't say enough about the stunning architecture, expansive glass walls, and incredible photography. Simply breathtaking and, oh yes, the wine!!!
Very neat place! We were had our first winery experience. Had a tasting and Phil was great explaining the history of the winery and the different wines we were tasting.
Wow! I just went to Apertures Vineyard's tasting room and it was such a delicious experience, especially the reds. I'd recommend trying the Nomad. The architecture and the views and the very limited crowds made this a very exclusive experience.
Jesse Katz has such a grasp on the grapes and the blending. If you get to ask for a server please ask for Allie. ? She was such an enthusiast and made the tasting a very memorable experience.Thank you, Lauren, for your help arranging the special afternoon.
A Hidden Gem: Aperture Cellar!
Visiting Aperture Cellar was an absolute delight! Nestled in beautiful wine country, this cellar offers stunning vineyard views and a modern, inviting tasting room.
The staff were outstanding – knowledgeable, welcoming, and passionate about their wines. Each pour was an adventure, especially the Red Blend, which stood out with its perfect balance and depth.
Aperture Cellar’s dedication to quality and innovation is truly impressive. It’s a place where exceptional wine meets wonderful hospitality. We can’t wait to return! ??
Aperture is a wonderful experience - a splurge but worth it. My spouse enjoys white wine and we found their sauvignon blanc delightful. Each wine was explained as well the history behind the winery - but in a very easy going, conversational style. I highly recommend this experience.
Aperture is a beautiful winery! I was recommend by someone in the wine business to make sure i stopped over for a visit. So first thing i did was make reservations for a tasting. Since i had a few visitors from Boston in town it made for a great day trip! The staff did an amazing job at keeping us entertained. They also provided us with a nice history lesson about Aperture. After the delicious tastings we walked around to enjoy the amazing views. This is a must if you are into wine and want to do something a little different than Napa.
Aly was amazing! So was the wine! Highly recommended to visit, really amazing!
Amazing tasting with great views and wines. Our guide, Ally, was simply delightful!
What a lovely winery. Not only are the views incredible, but the knowledge of the hostess made it perfect. Six of us went to this tasting. They put us in a private room (south facing), with 9the most beautiful view. Nicole was our hostess and she was truly amazing. Nicole made sure we were enjoying ourselves and knowledgeable about our wines. Definitely will come back here.
We have had the absolute BEST time with Nicole today! She is so knowledgeable and so friendly, she welcomed us with open arms. She made our time at Aperture even better. She is amazing at her job at such a young age- so impressive! We loved her and would highly recommend you spend your time at Aperture with Nicole ❤️

We had a wonderful experience at Aperture. Phil was an amazing, fun, and knowledgeable host. Wine was superb.
My wife and I scheduled a tasting with Aperture and have nothing but great things to say. We aren't wine experts, and our experience was incredible. The setting is amazing, it's fairly close to a main road but they're done a great job arranging your view and sightlines. The architecture, design and landscape architecture are all well done. The wines are fantastic. The Chenin Blanc was surprisingly enough my wife and I's favorite. Our host was Nicole, and she was also just incredible. We sat in the South Tasting Room (I think that was what they called it), and if I went back, I'd request that room.Incredible service, setting, design, drink, and they make you feel like you're their only guest. Make sure you schedule at least two months in advance and you'll love it.
Fabulous
I had Aperture on my radar for a while, and despite not having a reservation, we decided to drop in to see if they could accommodate us. Unfortunately, they strictly operate on reservations, but a kind solo traveler allowed us to join in on his tasting. The tasting room itself is stunning, offering a picturesque view of the vineyards that adds to the overall experience. The wines are exceptional, and the hospitality is truly top-notch. Phil, our host, went above and beyond, providing us with ample history about Aperture.I'll undoubtedly be returning the next time we find ourselves in Healdsburg. Aperture's combination of breathtaking scenery, excellent wines, and exceptional service is an experience worth revisiting
