Casual, authentic elegance. Delicious food, caring staff. We made a special request earlier in the day…. A sushi birthday cake! It was not on the menu, but the chef got right on it so that when we arrived at 6 o’clock with our daughter, turning 16, a most unique and beautiful birthday cake was ready. The look on her face was priceless, and the creation was delicious.

Asahi Sushi and Chef Nobu are next level. The fish here is unreal—everything is so fresh, especially the barracuda, which was flown in that day. I love how much wild fish they feature on the menu, and the omakase was packed with unique selections you don’t see everywhere. The atmosphere is relaxed but still feels special. If you’re into sushi and appreciate quality, this spot is a must-visit. Chef Nobu knows what he’s doing.

Most authentic sushi I have had in the area at a reasonable price. Fish are flown in weekly primarily from Japan. Chef Nobu is excellent in crafting his nigiri for you while you sit at the sushi bar. The taste is wonderful - fresh, great variety of fish available, and Nobu has one of his own takes on nigiri, a cold smoked version of hamachi, our favorite. Service is gracious and very attentive. If you are looking for an authentic sushi dining experience at a reasonable price, this is the place to go.
