Obviously not the old Michelin-starred Barndiva. They have decided to scale back to simpler fare in far less elegant surroundings. The website still shamelessly advertises their Michelin standing for 2021-23, implying an elegance and quality standard that this restaurant does not approach. Interesting if austere setting next door to the previous Michelin-starred location. The meal was poor, especially considering the price point. Extremely limited menu. My partner and I both got the steak frites ($38). Steak was good quality if considerably overcooked per my requested medium rare. Bearnaise sauce had broken and was consequently unattractive, watery, lacking richness and punch. Don't they look at the dish before it comes out? Fries were not crisp or fresh tasting, but rather soggy, like day-old fries pulled from the refrigerator. Server was nice and attentive, but food was slow to show up. Excellent side salad of shaved fennel, sorrel, and citrus was easily the best part of the meal. The $40 corkage fee is outrageous, in my opinion.

The atmosphere at Barndiva was lovely. It was unique and eclectic and the restaurant had good energy- noisy but so loud you can't have a conversation. The first course was great. We all ordered something different and everything was tasty. My son and I both ordered steak frites- medium rare, and both steaks came out medium +. Our waiter was friendly until we didn't look over joyed with receiving overdone steak. After that he got a little short and testy, and was clearly ready for us to leave. We didn't complain or send anything back, but the atmosphere clearly changed. Food was fine, but far from fabulous. For a $500 dinner, and at a restaurant with a Michelin star, we were hoping for better than fine. Glad we got to experience an acclaimed restaurant, but not good enough for a return visit.

Our server, Shannon, was amazing! She was new to the area, but was very well versed in the menu and provided incredible service. Make sure to order the trout tartare, goat cheese croquettes, and the Paris - Brest. Their non alcoholic cocktails are also very sophisticated!

Disappointed. Menu so limited. Steak was okay but the presentation was less than. We thought we were going to the old location and would sit outside but they've moved and there is no outdoor seating. The food was okay and over priced.

Beautiful eclectic restaurant. I wish the food lived up to the hype. Don't waste your time or money.

Photos online offer false advertising. The barn is closed, only open for private events. We ate next door in a small room that was not nice. The food was small quantities and not very good. One appetizer we ordered tasted like canned tuna. We would not recommend going to Barndiva.

Incredible place to celebrate a special occasion or just have a delicious meal. Great vibe and down to earth atmosphere with a range of farm fresh dishes and creative cocktails

We enjoyed a date night here and the food, service, and atmosphere were all amazing! This restaurant is in the downtown Healdsburg area and is centrally located. We got Smith Story's amazing Sauvingnon Blanc, which we were happy to see on their menu. We also ordered their bread and hummus, which was flavorful and delicious! The trout was delicious as well! The service was great and everyone that worked there was really friendly and attentive. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back!

Barndiva has a beautiful, relaxed environment from building to the menu to the staff. The food was amazing, the staff were so friendly. The brioche and goat cheese balls were really fresh and bite sized.Even though some things have changed, the best bits are still there.

The overall experience was underwhelming, and certainly not worthy of the pricetag ($250 for a couple). The standouts were surprisingly a side dish (French fries, of all things!) and a dessert (Paris Brest). The cocktails were merely decent, the chicken entree was dry, the trout was bland. The ingredients were certainly fresh and the presentation of the food was thoughtful and pleasing, and while our meal was “good” enough, it simply was not very tasty.

The experience did not meet expectations. Food was good, but was not good value. The restaurant overcharged an item by mistake and refunded the overcharged portion a few days after.

Started with cocktails at the bar- service was a little cold, but drinks were so yummy and gorgeously garnished. Once at the table, we started with Roasted vegetables, asparagus and deviled eggs to start- all were delicious. Deviled egg filling was so tasty, freshest asparagus ever. We had the vegetables bucatini and steak frites. Pasta was amazing, great level of spice. Steak was ordered medium rare, came out medium well, returned to the kitchen and it was the last one they had, so I ate it. Service recovery was great- manager offered to recook my husband's pasta dish so they both came out together.

I really enjoyed Barndiva's new space and the return to a regular menu (instead of pre-fixe). The food was very good as was the setting. We especially liked the movie that was projected on the wall. Our only complaint was that the corkage was forty dollars. That seemed a bit steep.

The salad was minuscule but delicious, the chicken Paillard was not really a paillard more like an overcooked milanesa. We sent our plate back and when it came back it was ok, not great. The dessert was delicious, a type of cream puff filled with hazelnut cream. The white wines by the glass were not to our liking. The service for the poor main course was extremely slow. The staff were very polite and obliging. We are locals, but probably won't go back there. A disappointment on the whole compared to the original Barndiva.
