My partner and I recently visited Copain to enjoy an intimate wine tasting while overlooking their beautiful vineyard. Our Estate Host, Tristan, was such a pleasure, very knowledgeable and intuitive. He was able to make great recommendations, but beware, you’ll be easily influenced to ship wine home! If I ever have the pleasure of heading back to the area, I will certainly visit Copain again!

Amazing Place, Amazing Wine, Amazing Service, and an Amazing Valentines Day Date! Took my beautiful date to Copain to enjoy their tasting flight and was pleasantly surprised by each and every wine. With years of winemaking history, gorgeous views, and killer wine (The Skycrest Vineyard Chardonnay and Hawks Butte Syrah were our favorites!); we could not have asked for a more perfect location to taste at. Phil and Maura did an amazing job with their wonderful hospitality and service. 10/10, would highly recommend!

Great for a Sonoma wine tasting! Not sure what was better, the wine or the views. Try the “Maggy Hawk”, named after the owners favorite horse. You’ll learn a lot about where the wine is sourced from and all you need to know about this boutique winery.

Jason Stephens always hosts one of the best tasting room experiences my wife and I have had and we've been to quite a few wineries. The different styles of Chardonnay are so expressive and once you get to the pinots and syrahs, you'll be sold. The prices are reasonable for these authentic, well made wines that are each true to their terroir. Ryan the winemaker, never disappoints!

Easy access to this winery from US101 thru Windsor. Takes about 10 minutes from highway. Currently building out some garden area so views are slightly obstructed and noisy when seated outdoors. Had an awesome experience with this place 8 years back, but since under KJ ownership, the tasting was sub par. Many other close options which provide a superior experience around same price point of $70 pp.Update: Thanks Chris! Yes, we were late coming from SFO and it was obvious from the staff treatment that they weren't please with that. I did not mention the service level I had, but merely wanted customers to know about outdoor construction. I think putting us inside seemed more like punishment since there was an existing party outside when we arrived. Feel free to reach out, but I doubt my mind will change.

It was Excellent !
We probably tasted about 10 different wines, even some that were $100 a bottle.
Well worth the $65 per person cost.
Besides the fruit, cheese, & meat plate they gave us, we probably drank 3 glasses each of High Quality Pinot Noir 👍
