The Pour House is my new favorite winery! My friends and I were looking for a new winery off of Dry Creek Road. We pulled into the parking lot and surveyed the wineries. Unsure of which one to try, we stopped at a few at the beginning of the parking lot and conversed with employees. The feeling was cold and unfriendly at the first two, but was warm and welcoming at The Pour House. Although they were busy, they invited us to stay for a tasting and sat us on their stellar patio that had a spectacular view of vineyards. They had a wide selection of wines to choose from which was excellent because our group had a mix of different wine preferences. I started with the Gewurztraminer. It was refreshing and I could taste the pear, peach, and grapefruit flavors. Next, I chose the CMP Blend because it is made with my three favorite grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot! WOW! The flavors were perfectly blended together and was heaven in a glass! My next selection was the Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The flavors were delectable and the ripe fruit flavor was absolutely delicious. I finished off with the Duffy Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. I didn't think the last three bottles could be topped, but I was wrong! ABSOLUTE PERFECTION! BEST CABERNET I have ever had! My friends tried a plethora of Optima's other wines and enjoyed them all as well. Although the winery was busy, the two ladies working did a great job of serving our group. They were upbeat, personable, and were knowledgeable of the wines they were pouring. Every person in our group joined the wine club and we bought several bottles to take home! This is a MUST STOP on your next trip to the DRY CREEK AREA!

We had the wine and cheese pairing. Our hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable. The cheese plate was generous and delicious with local salami and cheeses. We will be back!

Great find and excellent wines! Highly recommend checking out this place! Our hosts Nicol (Owner) and Carol (Manager) were excellent company making us feel right at home during our visit! Very few spots where I liked all the wines I got to select on the list. They even have picnic tables and a bocce ball court, can't get much better!

We went in for a wine tasting and got a whole history lesson on the area. The pourer was very friendly and knowledgeable even giving us recommendations what to do for the rest of the day. The wine was good but nothing fantastic however it is in a courtyard with a couple other places. You could even make yourself a little wine tasting tour if you wanted. The drive there was beautiful as it was through several other wineries vineyards.

This is by far one of our favorite stops on Dry Creek Road. It's the perfect place to relax, try amazing wines and enjoy a gorgeous view. On our last visit we brought a picnic lunch and sat at a shaded table. Everyone we have met there has been so friendly, knowledgeable and excellent with suggestions wether it's wine recommendations or places to visit in the area. They truly make you feel like family. This place is a must visit.

We visited the Family Wineries for a tasting on a Monday afternoon. We were fortunate to have Billie as our hostess. She and her husband own Lago di Merlo. Billie was so friendly and knowledgeable. You can taste any of the wines they have from 5 different local wineries. This was so much more fun by choosing from so many wines. Our favorite was Primitivo from Lago and Chenin Blanc from Dashe. This is a must do in the Dry Creek area.

Due to the interaction on 2/23/19 that my husband and I received at this location was quit rude. We walked in there was an available space at the counter we were the only African American as I was looking at my phone the guy walked up to us and stated we are full today were not accepting anymore groupon's. Little did he know we didn't have a groupon but as the white lady stated oh I didnt even know you guys did those. Unfortunately the treatment at the location was totally disgusting and disturbing. We are members of over 16 wineries in the Napa area and were recommended to try some in this area. Truth is this was not one of them. We took our self right out of the establishment and went to spend our money at the Peterson winery.
