The best wine tasting tip I got—visit Flanagan Wines Estate! It’s only 5 minutes from Healdsburg but feels a world away. Perched on a hilltop, the estate is surrounded by vineyards with gorgeous views of Dry Creek Valley. Tara was a fantastic host—friendly, welcoming, and generous with her knowledge. The Cabernet was a standout, and the highlight was meeting Isabelle, the winemaker, which made the visit even more memorable. Skip the downtown tasting rooms—this is the real gem!!

We’ve been proud members of Flanagan since 2017, and in all those years, we’ve yet to meet a wine here we didn’t like. Honestly, at this point, it’s less of a “club membership” and more of a long-term relationship—complete with loyalty, trust, and the occasional swoon when a new vintage is released.
Their wines have a style we can’t get enough of—beautifully balanced, full of depth, and somehow managing to get even better every year. We’ve witnessed their lineup expand and evolve over time, yet they’ve never lost the soul that made us fall in love in the first place.

She created an environment of relaxation and was very soft spoken which allowed us to relax and soak in the wines. Really awesome family vineyard. Great wines and if you visit, the tasting room has an awesome view. Their Syrah is my absolute favorite and if you enjoy visiting the tasting room, I highly recommend you look in their wine clubs and harvest party.
