So unfortunately we couldn’t go, they were booked. However, they were the NICEST people, gave us some great recommendations. We got a tiny pour of something very good while they made some reservations for us. They have a beautiful view and we’d love to try them next time we’re up that way. I just wanted to take a moment to express our group’s appreciation for their excellent care of not-quite-customers.
Wine is high quality and the servers in the tasting area were very helpful and accomodating to our walk in request and desire to purchase some wine. The receptionist was the opposite-- unhelpful, unaccomodating, claimed there was no way to buy the wine there when we asked if they had a shop or somewhere to buy the wine (which proved to be untrue). Maybe she was having a bad day and I don't want to pan the whole experience because of one negative person but she needs to know...
My friends and I had our best wine tasting experience ever!! Our sommelier Ellen was the the kindest and most knowledgeable host. Our experience would not have been the same without her. I cannot recommend this experience enough!!
